Ameerjan
Ameerjan was an Indian film director, who has directed Tamil films. He was primarily active in the 1984-1991 and is most noted for his work on films featuring actors Murali and Karthik. Career Ameerjan began his career as a protégé to director K. Balachander and then won critical acclaim for his directorial debut in 1984 with ''Poovilangu'', which starred actors Murali and Kuyili in the lead roles. He went on to direct more than 20 feature films, both in Tamil and Telugu, often collaborating with actors Murali and Karthik. Ameerjan also worked on a high-budget action film '' Siva'' (1989) featuring Rajinikanth as well as on socially relevant films such as '' Thulasi'' (1987). As opportunities declined, he began assisting K. Balachander when he started making television shows and also directed his own shows. In 2006, he also held the position of secretary in the Directors' Association of Tamil film makers. He suffered a cardiac arrest and died on 17 March 2015 in Saligrama ...

Chinna Chinna Kannile
''Chinna Chinna Kannile'' is a 2000 Tamil-language thriller film directed by Ameerjan. The film stars Prakash Raj, Khushbu and Nassar. It was released on 1 September 2000. Plot Rathi (Khushbu), a music video director, lives with her husband Ravi (Nassar) and their two kids. However, she is unaware that her husband is actually a robber. He carries outsmart crimes with his partner Sabesan (Prakash Raj). The police officer Dev (Thalaivasal Vijay) is pressured to arrest them. After a diamond heist gone wrong, Ravi finally gets caught while Sabesan escapes. Ravi managed to hide the diamonds in his house before being hauled off by the police. During the police custody, Ravi is shot by Dev, injuring him heavily. So Ravi is moved to the hospital, and the doctors eventually save his life. Thereafter, Sabesan goes to his ward and questions Ravi about the diamonds. Sabesan even killed his partner to leave oneself a way out. Thulasi (1987 Film)
''Thulasi'' is a 1987 Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Ameerjan. The film stars Murali and Seetha. It was released on 27 November 1987. Plot Thirunavukarasu is considered as a God by his villagers. Nevertheless, his son Sammadham is an atheist and he doesn't believe in his father's power. Sammadham and Ponni, a low caste girl, fall in love with each other. Sammadham's best friend Siva, a low caste boy, passes the Master of Arts degree successfully. Thirunavukarasu's daughter Thulasi then develops a soft corner for Siva. Thirunavukarasu cannot accept for his son Sammadham's marriage with Ponni due to caste difference.
