Ambrose Lau Hon-chuen
Ambrose Lau Hon-chuen, GBS JP () (born 16 July 1947) was the chairman of the Hong Kong Progressive Alliance (HKPA), a pro-business and pro-Beijing political party in Hong Kong. He was a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong (LegCo), elected from the constituency of Election Committee. He is a solicitor and notary public. He served as the chairman of the Central and Western District Board from 1988 to 1994, and as President of the Law Society of Hong Kong from 1992 to 1993. The Hong Kong order of precedence is a nominal and symbolic hierarchy of important positions within the Government of Hong Kong. Administered by the government's Protocol Division, the hierarchy does not determine the order of succession for the office of Chief Executive, which is instead specified by the Basic Law of Hong Kong. As a special administrative region of the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong theoretically maintains autonomy on all affairs other than defence and foreign relations. James Tien Pei-chun, GBS, OBE, JP (; born 8 January 1947) is the former Chairman and Leader of the Liberal Party (LP) and former member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong (Legco).
