Ambati Rayudu
Ambati Thirupathi Rayudu (born 23 September 1985) is an Indian cricketer who currently captains the Baroda cricket team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy championship. He played 61 limited overs matches for the India national cricket team between 2013 and 2019 and is a right-handed middle-order batsman, who occasionally keeps wicket and bowls right-arm off breaks. He plays for Hyderabad in domestic cricket, and Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Rayudu began his first-class career with Hyderabad in 2002 at the age of 16 and, by the following year, was playing for India A. The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy is a domestic T-20 cricket championship in India, organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), among the teams from the Ranji Trophy. Sainikpuri is a residential neighbourhood in the northeastern part of Hyderabad City. It falls under Kapra mandal of Medchal-Malkajgiri District, and is currently administered under GHMC East Zone. Abdul Azeem
Abdul Azeem (10 June 1960 – 18 April 2023) was an Indian cricketer. He was the first player from the south zone and the seventh Indian to score a triple century in the Ranji Trophy (1986 versus Tamil Nadu). In a 15-year career for the Hyderabad cricket team, he scored more than 4000 runs in first class cricket. T. Vijay Paul (d. 16 December 2016), also spelled T. Vijaya Paul, was an Indian first-class cricketer who played for Hyderabad. He worked as a cricket coach and selector after retirement. Life and career Paul appeared in a total of 34 first-class matches, representing Hyderabad in the Ranji Trophy between 1974/75 and 1982/83 seasons after making his first-class debut with Vazir Sultan Tobacco XI during the 1971/72 season. A "solid and compact" middle-order batsman, Paul scored 1583 runs in his first-class career, including two centuries, at an average of 35.97. Indian Cricket League
The Indian Cricket League (ICL) was a private cricket league funded by Zee Entertainment Enterprises that operated between 2007 and 2009 in India. Its two seasons included tournaments between four international teams (World XI, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh) and separate tournaments between nine domestic teams notionally located in major Indian cities as well as Lahore, Pakistan and Dhaka, Bangladesh. The matches were played in the Twenty20 format, and was the first domestic Twenty20 league in India. There was also a planned domestic 50-over tournament, but this did not happen. The 2004 ICC Under-19 World Cup was an international limited-overs cricket tournament played in Bangladesh from 15 February to 5 March 2004. It was the fifth edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup and the first to be held in Bangladesh. The 2004 World Cup was contested by sixteen teams, including one (Uganda) making its tournament debut. After an initial group stage, the top eight teams played off in a super league to decide the tournament champions, with the non-qualifiers playing a separate "plate" competition. The India A cricket team is a national cricket team representing India. It is the second-tier of Indian international cricket, below the full India national cricket team.
