Amazing (High And Mighty Color Song)
is the 11th single of the Japanese band High and Mighty Color, released on December 11, 2007. Overview Amazing is the band's eleventh single. The song returns to a more rock oriented sound in contrast to the tenth and ninth singles from the band, both ballads. The title song was used as the theme to a series of Ekiden races held in Japan while the b-side song, Parade, was used as the theme to the 2007-2008 Japanese football season and as a Nabisco commercial song. The single was originally going to contain a song known as ''Size'', but was removed for unknown reasons. The music video for the single was released on November 28, 2007. The single was released in both special and nonspecial editions, the special edition contain a DVD which includes the music video for Amazing as well as a documentary on the summer 2007 tour narrated in parts by each member. High And Mighty Color
High and Mighty Color (stylized as HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR) was a Japanese rock band active from 2003 to 2010. They had two vocalists; a male and a female. History Formation and Anti-Nobunaga The band started in Okinawa when Sassy and Meg left a Metallica cover band after they decided to make their own music. Sassy offered Mackaz the opportunity to join their new band, he accepted and invited long time friend Kazuto to join as well. Meg sat in on a school performance one day, and Yuusuke's voice stood out to him, so he offered him a chance to join the band. Initially Yuusuke declined due to wanting to be a solo singer, but joined after Meg reportedly asked him to join every day for nearly four months. The band, known as Anti-Nobunaga at this time, played mainly in small coffee shops and art theaters for about a year. "Dreams" is the tenth single by High and Mighty Color; it was released on August 1, 2007. Overview "Dreams" is the first single from the band since January 2007 and their first since "Over" to contain more than one B-side. The title track of the single is used as the second ending theme for the anime ''Darker than Black'' and has been described as a ballad and about the sadness of breaking up. The first pressing of the single came with four exclusive character stickers from ''Darker than Black''. The single is unlike any other single in the fact that rather than crediting "High and Mighty Color" for writing the lyrics and composing the music from Roxy production, "Dreams" gives the specifics for who wrote the lyrics on some of the songs. The single charted the 18th place on Oricon during its first day and would go on to obtain the 24th spot on the weekly charts. Flashback was used as the second opening theme to TV Tokyo anime ''Hero Tales is a Japanese manga series written by Huang Jin Zhou (a unit composed of Hiromu Arakawa, Genco, and Studio Flag) and illustrated by Hiromu Arakawa. It was serialized in Square Enix's ''Gangan Powered'' and later moved to ''Monthly Shōnen Gan ...'' while Komorebi no Uta was used as the ending theme to the same anime.
