Mundo Novo is a municipality in northeastern Goiás state, Brazil. Mundo Novo is located in the São Miguel do Araguaia Microregion in the extreme north-west of the state. Parangatu is a town in Goiás state, Brazil. Geography Parangatu is in its own microregion, Porangatu Microregion, of 226,766 inhabitants in an area of 35.287 km2; 426 km from the state capital, Goiânia.
