Amalia Uys
Amalia Uys (born 14 October 1984) is a South African actress. She starred as San-Mari van Graan in the soap opera '' 7de Laan'' from 2006 to 2013. Early life Uys was born in Springbok, Northern Cape. She matriculated at Hoërskool Menlopark in Menlo Park, Gauteng. She graduated from Stellenbosch University in 2003, after which she moved to Johannesburg. 2008 helicopter crash On Saturday 31 May 2008, Uys suffered injuries when a helicopter that she and two fellow 7de Laan cast members ( Sekoati Tsubane and Hazel Hinda) were traveling in crashed into a car shortly after take off. Springbok, Northern Cape
Springbok is the largest town in the Namaqualand area in the Northern Cape province of South Africa. It was called Springbokfontein until 1911, when it was shortened to Springbok. Springbok is located on the N7 road (South Africa), N7 national route (South Africa), national route which connects the Cape with Namibia, and at the western end of the N14 road (South Africa), N14, which connects it with Upington and Pretoria. The street and shopfronts which are featured on the opening visuals, are that of Seventh Street in Melville, Johannesburg. Kroonstad
Kroonstad (Afrikaans directly translated "Crown City") is the third largest city in the Free State (after Bloemfontein and Welkom) and lies two hours' drive on the N1 from Gauteng. Maokeng is an area within Kroonstad, and is occasionally used as a synonym of the town itself.
