French ( or ) is a Romance language of the Indo-European family. It descended from the Vulgar Latin of the Roman Empire, as did all Romance languages. Amable Dionne
Amable Dionne (November 30, 1782 – May 2, 1852) was a businessman, seigneur and political figure in Lower Canada and Canada East. He was born in Kamouraska in 1782 and grew up there. He became a clerk for Pierre Casgrain, a merchant at Rivière-Ouelle, and, in 1811, was made a partner in the business. In the same year, he married Catherine Perreault, the niece and daughter by adoption of the local seigneur, Jacques-Nicolas Perrault. In 1818, he established his own business. Dionne served in the local militia, reaching the rank of major. He purchased the seigneuries of La Pocatière and Grande-Anse during the 1830s. In 1830, he was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Lower Canada for Kamouraska; he was reelected in 1834. He supported the Ninety-Two Resolutions but did not support the rebellion that followed. Amable Liñán Martínez (born Noceda de Cabrera, Castrillo de Cabrera, León, Spain in 1934) is a Spanish aeronautical engineer considered a world authority in the field of combustion. Biography He holds a PhD in Aeronautical Engineering from the Technical University of Madrid, advised by :es:Gregorio Millán Barbany and Degree of Aeronautical Engineer from the Caltech advised by Frank E. Marble. He is currently Professor of Fluid Mechanics and professor emeritus at the Higher Technical School of Aeronautical Engineers of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (attached to the Department of Motorcycle and Thermofluidodynamics of said school). Amable Éno, dit Deschamps (April 27, 1785 – July 22, 1875) was a political figure in Quebec. He represented L'Assomption from 1830 to 1834 in the Legislative Assembly of Lower Canada as a supporter of the Parti patriote. His name also appears as Amable Deschamps. He was born in L'Assomption, Quebec, the son of Jean-Baptiste Hénault dit Deschamps and Marie-Victoire Limoges. Amable Aristy Castro (10 May 1949 – 4 December 2022) was a politician and businessman from the Dominican Republic. He was a senior leader of the Social Christian Reformist Party (PRSC) and was a Senator for the province of La Altagracia. Aristy was the presidential candidate for his party in the 2008 presidential election. Amable Berthelot
Amable Berthelot (February 10, 1777 – November 24, 1847) was a ''Canadien'' lawyer, author and political figure. He was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Lower Canada and later to the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Canada. Trained as a lawyer, he was an avid book-collector, at one point having a personal library of some fifteen hundred volumes. He did not support those who took up arms during the Lower Canada Rebellion of 1837–1838. He never married, but adopted two children, a boy and a girl. His daughter married Louis-Hippolyte LaFontaine, later co-premier of the Province of Canada. He was a literary mentor to François-Xavier Garneau.
