Alyssa Baldin
Alyssa Baldin (born February 15, 1990) is an elite women's ice hockey player who has also competed for the Canada women's national inline hockey team. With regards to Baldin's women's ice hockey career, she has competed at the university level in both the NCAA and CIS. Acquired by the Toronto Furies in the 2013 CWHL Draft, she would capture the Clarkson Cup in 2014. Playing career Ice hockey For the 2007 National Women's Under-18 Championships, she was selected to Team Ontario Blue. NCAA Joining the Wayne State Warriors in autumn 2008, Baldin scored her first career goal on October 18, 2008 at Union. It was also her first collegiate point. She finished 8th among CHA rookies with 18 point (seventh highest by any freshman in Warriors history). On October 15, 2010, Baldin scored her 20th career goal in NCAA play. Calgary Inferno
The Calgary Inferno (previously known as Team Alberta, nickname "Honeybadgers", during the 2011–12 season) was a women's ice hockey team that joined the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL) for the 2011–12 season. The team played its home games at Joan Snyder Rink (Arena B) at WinSport Canada in Calgary, Alberta. After two seasons without an official name, in 2013 the team picked a moniker drawing from Calgary's National Hockey League franchise, the Calgary Flames, with whom they had a partnership. The 2014 Clarkson Cup is a women's ice hockey tournament that was contested in Markham, Ontario to determine the champion of the Canadian Women's Hockey League from March 19 to March 22, 2014. The Toronto Furies defeated the Boston Blades by a 1-0 tally in overtime to claim their first title. The tournament was played at Markham Centennial Centre. With the victory, Natalie Spooner became the first woman in hockey history to claim the gold medal in the Winter Games and the Clarkson Cup in the same year. Michelle Bonello (born March 10, 1985) is a women's ice hockey player who has also competed for the Canada women's national inline hockey team, having participated at seven FIRS Inline Hockey World Championships With regards to Bonello's women's ice hockey career, she has competed at the university level with the Mercyhurst Lakers women's ice hockey program in the NCAA. Acquired by the Toronto Furies in the 2010 CWHL Draft, the first in league history, she would capture the Clarkson Cup in 2014. Playing career Ice hockey Bonello joined the Mercyhurst Lakers in 2003. As a freshman, she played in all 36 games. In her freshman year, she had five goals and 12 assists for 17 points. Her four power play goals tied for first on the Lakers.
