Alvin Leung
Alvin Leung King-lon (; born 12 or 13 March 1961), is an English-born Hong Kong-Canadian chef and television personality. He holds two Michelin stars at his restaurant Bo Innovation and one Michelin star at Bo London. Nicknamed The Demon Chef, he invented his own cuisine named X-Treme Chinese, which includes meals such as an edible condom on a mushroom beach. His restaurant Bo London, based in Mayfair, London closed after a year in business. Another restaurant, Bo Shanghai was opened in Shanghai, and his fourth, R&D, is located in Toronto. Leung has appeared as a judge on ''MasterChef Canada'' since its debut in 2014. Career After birth, Leung moved with his family from London, England, United Kingdom and was raised in Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Konjac
Konjac (or konjak, ) is a common name of the East and Southeast Asian plant ''Amorphophallus konjac'' ( syn. ''A. rivieri''), which has an edible corm (bulbo-tuber). It is also known as konjaku, konnyaku potato, devil's tongue, voodoo lily, snake palm, or elephant yam (though this name is also used for '' A. paeoniifolius''). It is native to Yunnan in China and cultivated in warm subtropical to tropical East and Southeast Asia, from China and Japan south to Indonesia and Vietnam (USDA hardiness zone 6–11). ''The Listener'' is a Television in Canada, Canadian fantasy television, fantasy Drama (film and television), drama television series created by Michael Amo. The series stars Craig Olejnik as Toby Logan, a paramedic with telepathic powers who finds himself consulting with law enforcement to make a change in the world by helping others while listening to the thoughts of victims and criminals, and seeing images that they saw. Eric Chong
Eric Chong (born December 27, 1991) is a Canadian chef, former engineer, and restaurateur who became the winner of the first season of ''MasterChef Canada''. Winning at age 21, he was the youngest ever winner of ''MasterChef Canada'' until Beccy Stables entered and won the fifth season of the competition at age 19. Career He obtained a degree in chemical engineering from McMaster University and started working in the field, but quit when he heard the casting call for ''MasterChef Canada''. After winning the competition, he received an offer from Alvin Leung, one of the judges, to train with him and open a restaurant together. Leung noted similarities between himself and Chong, such as their background in engineering and their families' initial disapproval of their choice of trade.
