Football Club Altyn Asyr ( tk, link=no, Altyn Asyr futbol kluby), also known as Altyn Asyr Ashgabat or simply Altyn Asyr, which translates to "Golden Century", is a Turkmen football club based in Ashgabat. Founded in 2008, the club competes in the Ýokary Liga, the top tier of Turkmen football. It has remained there ever since, winning the Turkmenistan Higher League championship eight times in a row (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021). The club also won the Turkmenistan Cup for 5 times in 2009, 2015, 2016, 2019 and 2020 and has been regular in AFC Cup recently. The team plays in the Ashgabat Stadium. History From the first days of participation in official competitions team was headed by Umarguly Nurmamedov. Sport Toplumy (Abadan)
Buzmeyin Sport Complex ( tk, Büzmeýin Sport Toplumy) is a stadium in Büzmeýin District, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. It is currently used mostly for football matches. It has a capacity of 10,000 people. It is the home of Ýokary Liga club Altyn Asyr FK. It was called Abadan Sport Complex until 2018. History The sports complex opened in June 2009 in Abadan city. Construction works carried out by Turkish company ALP-SAN Inşaat. The project cost $20 million. It also hosted some matches for 2010 Turkmenistan President's Cup. In 2018, the Abadan District was renamed to Büzmeýin District, along with this the name of the stadium was changed to ''Buzmeyin Sport Complex''. Uche Kalu
Uche Kalu (born 16 May 1986) is a Nigerian football player who plays for Altyn Asyr FK in the Turkmenistan Higher League. He is not related to former Enyimba teammate Henry Uche nor fellow Nigeria international and India-based midfielder Kalu Uche. Career In 2007, he was named as "Most Valuable Player" in the Nigerian Premier League after joining Enyimba from second-level team Bussdor United F.C. He however struggled with injuries the next few years. After a failed transfer attempt to Botola team Wydad Casablanca in February 2012, he rejoined Enyimba. He moved to Turkish second-tier team Çaykur Rizespor in August 2012, and had a goal and assist in his debut. In January 2014, Uche Kalu joined Adanaspor on a loan deal. Peter Opiyo Odhiambo (born 1 August 1992 in Bondo), nicknamed "Pinchez", is a Kenyan footballer. He primarily plays as a midfielder, currently turns out for Kenyan side Nairobi City Stars. He previously played for Kenyan Premier League clubs Tusker, Thika United and A.F.C. 2019 AFC Cup
The 2019 AFC Cup was the 16th edition of the AFC Cup, Asia's secondary club football tournament organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
