Alpha Phi Beta
The Alpha Phi Beta Fraternity (also known as ΑΦΒ, Association of Philippine Barristers, or Abogado Para sa Bayan) is a fraternity based in the University of the Philippines College of Law with no recognized chapters outside University of the Philippines Diliman. The fraternity's membership hails from the College of Law and from pre-law colleges in the campus. 2019 marked the fraternity's 80th Anniversary. It is one of the three fraternities based in the College, the other two being Sigma Rho fraternity and Scintilla Juris. The University of the Philippines College of Law (often referred to as UP Law) is the law school of the University of the Philippines Diliman. Formally established in 1911 in UP Manila, it is the third oldest continually-operating law school in the Philippines. Upsilon Sigma Phi
The Upsilon Sigma Phi () is the oldest Greek-letter organization and fraternity in Asia. Founded in 1918, it is also the oldest student organization in continuous existence in the University of the Philippines. The ''Philippine Law Journal'' is an academic student-run law review affiliated with the UP College of Law at the University of the Philippines Diliman. Established in August 1914, the ''Journal'' marked its 100th anniversary in 2014 as the oldest law review in the Philippines and the oldest English language law journal in Asia. It is managed by the editorial board, composed of select students of the University of the Philippines College of Law. The ''Journal'' publishes four issues every year. Francis Joseph "Chiz" Guevara Escudero (, born October 10, 1969) is a Filipino lawyer and politician serving as a Senator since 2022, and previously from 2007 to 2019.
