Alok Achkar Peres Petrillo (; born 26 August 1991) is a Brazilian musician, DJ, and record producer. He is known for his single "Hear Me Now (Alok song), Hear Me Now". In 2021 and 2022, Alok was ranked the 4th best DJ in the world by ''DJ Mag'', being the highest position occupied by a Brazilian. Alok has become one of the most prominent icons in the Brazilian electronic scene, with honors and awards, such as "Best DJ in Brazil" by House Mag in 2014 and 2015, and being the only Brazilian in the top 25 in the world the following year by ''DJ Mag'' magazine. Alok Vaid-Menon (born July 1, 1991) is an American writer, performance artist, and media personality who performs under the moniker ALOK. Alok is gender non-conforming and transfeminine, and uses the singular ''they'' third person pronouns. Alok Nath (born 10 July 1949) is an Indian film character actor known for his work in Hindi cinema and television. Alok Sharma (born 7 September 1967) is a British politician who served as the President for COP26 from 2021-2022. Resigning his previous position as Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy in order to lead COP26, he retained full Cabinet status from January 2021 to October 2022 as Minister of State for the Cabinet Office. Alok Bhargava (born 13 July 1954) is an Indian econometrician. He studied mathematics at Delhi University and economics and econometrics at the London School of Economics. He is currently a full professor at the University of Maryland School of Public Policy. Education In 1974 he received his B.A with honors in Mathematics at Delhi University. In 1977 he got his B.Sc in Economics at London School of Economics. In 1978 he received his M.Sc in Economometrics at London School of Economics. Bhargava received his Ph.D. in econometrics from the London School of Economics under the supervision of John Denis Sargan in 1982. Alok Nembang
Alok Nembang was a Nepali film director. He was also a well-known music video director in Nepal for more than a decade. Career After returning to Nepal from the United States, where he gained knowledge about theater and film-making, Alok directed over 500 music videos of Nepali music. Alok Mukherjee (born circa 1945) is a Canadian academic, human rights advocate, and public servant. He served as chair of the Toronto Police Services Board (TPSB) from 2005 until his July 2015 retirement. Alok Kapali ( bn, অলোক কাপালী; born 1 January 1984) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He is an allrounder who bats in the middle to lower order and bowls leg spin. He was the first Bangladeshi to take a Test hat-trick. Early life and background Kapali was born into a Bengali Hindu family in Sylhet, Bangladesh.
