Alois Von Brinz
Alois (Aloys) Ritter von Brinz (25 February 1820, Weiler im Allgäu – 13 September 1887, Munich) was a German jurist and politician. He taught as a professor at the University of Erlangen, Charles University of Prague, University of Tübingen (1866-), University of Munich (1871-). He was a researcher of Roman law. Life His father was a Doctor of Laws, his grandfather a master baker in Weiler. Brinz studied in Munich and Berlin and then entered the judicial service of his home state of Bavaria. In Berlin, Professor Adolf August Friedrich Rudorff had encouraged him in the detailed scientific study of Roman law, something which he intensified during his practical work. In 1851 the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg made him an '' außerordentlicher Professor'' (i.e. professor without chair). Hans-Jochen Vogel (3 February 192626 July 2020) was a German lawyer and a politician for the Social Democratic Party (SPD). He served as Mayor of Munich from 1960 to 1972, winning the 1972 Summer Olympics for the city and Governing Mayor of West Berlin in 1981, the only German ever to lead two cities with a million+ inhabitants. He was Federal Minister of Regional Planning, Construction and Urban Development from 1972 to 1974, and Federal Minister of Justice from 1974 to 1981. Bernhard Vogel (; born 19 December 1932) is a German politician of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). He was the 4th Minister President of Rhineland-Palatinate from 1976 to 1988 and the 2nd Minister President of Thuringia from 1992 to 2003.
