Almarai Company () is a Saudi multinational dairy company which is listed on the Tadawul stock exchange. It specializes in food and beverage manufacturing and distribution. The company's main offices are located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. History Early years (1977–2010) Almarai started its operations in 1977 by Irish brothers Alastair McGuckian and Paddy McGuckian and Prince Sultan bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Kabeer. Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Saud Al Kabeer
Sultan bin Mohammed Al Kabeer (born 1954) is a Saudi prince and businessman. He is one of the founders of Almarai which is the largest vertically integrated dairy foods company in the world. Prince Sultan is a great-nephew of King Abdulaziz, being the grandson of the King's sister Noura bint Abdul Rahman. Early life and education Prince Sultan belongs to the Al Kabeer branch of the Saudi royal family. This branch are the descendants of Saud bin Faisal bin Turki, Emir of Nejd, who was an uncle of King Abdulaziz, the founder of the present Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Nayef bin Sultan Al Kabeer (born 29 January 1975) is a Saudi businessman who has been the chairman of the board of directors of Almarai Company since March 2020 when his father Sultan bin Mohammed resigned from the post. Nayef bin Sultan is a member of the Al Kabeer cadet branch of the Saudi royal family. Biography Prince Nayef was born on 29 January 1975.
