Alltag
''Alltag'', released in 2003 by Turkish-German director Neco Celik, is a film depicting life in the neighborhood of Kreuzberg. The film has particular significance in the arena of Turkish-German hip-hop and hip-hop life in the neighborhood. Celik was born in 1972 and grew up in the neighborhood of Kreuzberg, and was directly influenced by the presence of hip hop and gang culture in Kreuzberg. Many people see the film as testament to the Americanization of cultures in Europe and a report from the "frontlines". The film is not only evidence of the prevalence of hip hop in ethnic minorities in Germany, but the popularity of hip hop in Germany. The film has critics dubbing Neco Celik as the next Spike Lee. Florian Panzner (born 20 July 1976) is a German actor who has been active since 1999. Life and career Panzner studied at the University of Film and Television Potsdam-Babelsberg. In 2000, he played the role of Truffaldino in the comedy ''The Servant of Two Masters'' by Carlo Goldoni at Berlin's Theater unterm Dach. For his role as Hagen in the 2005 film ''White Silence'' by director Philip Hauke, he won the award for best male actor at the 2005 Miskolc International Film Festival. Kreuzberg
Kreuzberg () is a district of Berlin, Germany. It is part of the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg borough located south of Mitte. During the Cold War era, it was one of the poorest areas of West Berlin, but since German reunification in 1990 it has become more gentrified and known for its arts scene. The borough is known for its large percentage of immigrants and descendants of immigrants, many of whom are of Turkish ancestry. As of 2006, 31.6% of Kreuzberg's inhabitants did not have German citizenship. Kreuzberg is noted for its diverse cultural life and experimental alternative lifestyles, and is an attractive area for many, however, some parts of the district are still characterized by higher levels of unemployment. Neco Celik
Manoel Nunes (March 7, 1895 – May 31, 1977), also known as Neco, was an association football midfielder. With great skill and tenacity, he was the first idol of Corinthians, being the first player to get a statue in the team's gardens (in 1929). As of 2006, Neco is the player who played the longest for Corinthians: 17 years. Called often to the Brazilian national team, he won two South American Championships: 1919 (team's top scorer) and 1922 (top scorer). Playing for Corinthians, he won the Paulista League eight times as a player (being top scorer in 1914 and 1920) and once as a coach (1937).
