Allsvenskan And Elitserien (bandy)
The combination Allsvenskan ( sv, Allsvenskan i bandy) and Elitserien ( sv, Elitserien i bandy) was earlier the highest level of bandy in Sweden contested annually between Sweden, Swedish bandy clubs. The Allsvenskan was split into two regional divisions: the Allsvenskan Norra (bandy), Allsvenskan Norra (north) and the Allsvenskan Södra (bandy), Allsvenskan Södra (south), in which the teams played during the autumn. After the Christmas holiday the Allsvenskan was split into Elitserien (top four teams in each group) and Superallsvenskan (last four teams in each group). The season ended in March with a final on Studenternas IP like the Super Bowl. Starting with the 2007–08 season, the league structure was remade. Bandy is a winter sport and ball sport played by two teams wearing ice skates on a large ice surface (either indoors or outdoors) while using sticks to direct a ball into the opposing team's goal. The international governing body for bandy is the Federation of International Bandy (FIB). The playing surface, called a bandy field or bandy rink, is a sheet of ice which measures 90–110 meters by 45–65 meters – about the size of a football pitch. The field is considerably larger than the ice rinks commonly used for ice hockey, rink bandy, or figure skating. Tillberga IK Bandy
Tillberga IK Bandy, also called ''Tillberga Bandy Västerås'' or ''TB Västerås'', is a Swedish Bandy club playing in the Allsvenskan for the first time in the 2006–07 season. Tillberga IK were founded in 1930 and play their home games at Rocklunda. Tillberga IK have struggled in the Allsvenskan this season finishing bottom of the Norra division and will have a difficult fight to avoid relegation during the Superallsvenskan. Skutskärs IF
Skutskärs IF is a bandy club in Skutskär, Sweden. The formal name of the club is ''Skutskärs IF/Bandyklubb''. The team colours are green and yellow. History The club was formally founded in 1989, when the former Skutskärs IF of 1915 was split in two, one club for bandy and one for association football. In the first year of bandy league system in Sweden, 1930–31, Skutskär entered in Division 1 Norra together with AIK, Hammarby IF, IF Vesta, IFK Rättvik, IK Sirius, SK Tirfing, and Västerås SK and finished 3rd. IK Sirius
IK Sirius is a Swedish bandy club located in Uppsala, currently playing in Elitserien. IK Sirius were formed in 1907 and play their home games at Studenternas Idrottsplats. History IK Sirius' first success was becoming Swedish runners-up in 1918, they followed this up by becoming Swedish champions twice in 1921 and 1922, but they then didn't have any more success in the league until 1926 where they were runners-up and they were also runners-up in 1928. IFK Vänersborg is a Swedish sports club in Vänersborg, Sweden, most famous for its success in bandy. History The club was formed on 9 March 1903.
