	Allan Rune Pettersson Allan Rune Pettersson (9 March 1936 – 15 August 2018) was a Swedish author. After a varied career as a producer of children's programmes on Swedish radio and later as an innkeeper in Portugal, he became a freelance writer on his return to Sweden in 1965. He has written several children's books, plays for children and adults for stage, radio and TV. Notable books include ''Frankenstein's Aunt'' and ''Frankenstein's Aunt Returns''. 	Frankenstein's Aunt (novel) ''Frankenstein's Aunt'' ( sv, Frankensteins faster) is a novel by Allan Rune Pettersson, first published in Sweden in 1978. Story The book is about Hannah Frankenstein, the Baron's aunt, who comes to Frankenstein's Castle to put it back in order, following the chaos caused by her nephew's experiments. There, she meets the unusual inhabitants of the castle, which, apart from Frankenstein's monster, also include Count Dracula and Larry Talbot the werewolf. Background The book is an homage to the Universal Horror Frankenstein films of the 1930s and 1940s. Its title is an untranslatable pun: in Swedish, Frankenstein's mother's sister would be his "moster" whereas his father's sister is his "faster". 	Frankenstein's Aunt Returns ''Frankenstein's Aunt Returns'' is a novel by Allan Rune Pettersson that was first published in Sweden in 1989. The book is a sequel to the first book ''Frankenstein's Aunt''. The story is about Franklin (named after Benjamin Franklin), a child created by Doctor Frankenstein with the help of Doctor Pretorius for the monster and his bride. The child is inventive like his namesake and has a talent for practical jokes. This leads again to conflicts with the villagers, who are far from happy to have another monster in their midst.
