All Of Us (album)
''The Existence of Chance Is Everything and Nothing While the Greatest Achievement Is the Living of Life, and so Say ALL OF US'', or simply ''All of Us'', is the second studio album released by the British psychedelic rock band Nirvana. The album was released in 1968. It includes "Tiny Goddess," "Trapeze," and "Frankie the Great". The album's most well-known song, "Rainbow Chaser," leads off, with its prominent phasing effects; "Tiny Goddess," a ballad, comes next. "Rainbow Chaser" was a #1 single in Denmark in April 1969, where it stayed in the top 10 for a month. "Rainbow Chaser" was to be their only UK top 40 hit. The cover shot is a monochrome reproduction of ''Les Conquérants'' (''The Conquerors'') painted in 1892 by Pierre Fritel, and depicts some of world history's most famous figures leading a procession through a mass of dead bodies. Nirvana (UK Band)
Nirvana are an English pop rock band formed in London in 1965. Progressive Rock
Progressive rock (shortened as prog rock or simply prog; sometimes conflated with art rock) is a broad genre of rock music that developed in the United Kingdom and United States through the mid- to late 1960s, peaking in the early 1970s. Chris Blackwell
Christopher Percy Gordon Blackwell (born 22 June 1937) is an English businessman and former record producer, and the founder of Island Records, which has been called "one of Britain's great independent labels". According to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, to which Blackwell was inducted in 2001, he is "the single person most responsible for turning the world on to reggae music." Variety describes him as "indisputably one of the greatest record executives in history". Having formed Island Records in Jamaica on 22 May 1959 when he was 22, Blackwell was among the first to record the Jamaican popular music that eventually became known as ska. ''The Story of Simon Simopath'' is the debut album by British psychedelic band Nirvana, released by Island Records in 1967. Described by '' Melody Makers Chris Welch as a "science fiction pantomime album", the songs are linked with a story on the back cover which details the dream of Simon Simopath to fly. "Pentecost Hotel" was released as a single with the non-album b-side, "Feelin' Shattered". "Wings of Love" was the next single, also with a non-album b-side, "Requiem to John Coltrane". "Girl in the Park", from the second album, ''All of Us'', featured the b-side, "C Side In Ocho Rios", which is an instrumental version of "In the Courtyard of the Stars". Patrick Campbell-Lyons
Patrick Campbell-Lyons (born 13 July 1943), is an Irish composer and musician who is one half of the cult symphonic-rock band, Nirvana, formed in London in 1967. Campbell-Lyons, a native of Lismore, County Waterford, was part of the West London music scene from the early 1960s playing in several bands. He was the vocalist and a founder member of a locally-popular R&B band ''Second Thoughts'' whose lineups included future record producer Chris Thomas, Thunderclap Newman founder/drummer Speedy Keen and two future members of prog-rock band Jade Warrior (Jon Field and Tony Duhig). Second Thoughts split up in late 1965 and after a year living in Sweden, Campbell-Lyons returned to London in late 1966. In early 1967 he formed Nirvana with Greek musician Alex Spyropoulos.
