All New People
''All New People'' is a 2011 play by Zach Braff set on Long Beach Island and centers on Charlie, a 35-year-old from Braff's home state of New Jersey. The play Premiered at Second Stage Theatre and subsequently moved to tour the UK, playing in Manchester, Glasgow and finally in London, in early 2012. Plot The play is set in a trendy beach house, and begins with a suicide attempt by Charlie. Emma, an expat Briton, comes in and saves him. She is there to show the property to prospective tenants. Emma infers that her fortuitous arrival was divine intervention, and sets about trying to help Charlie. She calls in Myron, a Long Island fire-fighter (and drug dealer) to help. Finally, Kim, an escort girl provided by one of Charlie's friends, arrives. Charlie announces that he has killed six people, as an explanation for why he was trying to kill himself. Duke Of York's Theatre
The Duke of York's Theatre is a West End theatre in St Martin's Lane, in the City of Westminster, London. It was built for Frank Wyatt and his wife, Violet Melnotte, who retained ownership of the theatre until her death in 1935. Designed by the architect Walter Emden, it opened on 10 September 1892 as the Trafalgar Square Theatre, and was renamed to Trafalgar Theatre in 1894. The following year, it became the Duke of York's to honour the future King George V. The theatre's opening show was comic opera ''The Wedding Eve'' by Frédéric Toulmouche. One of the earliest musical comedies, ''Go-Bang'', was a success at the theatre in 1894. In 1900, Jerome K. King's Theatre, Glasgow
The King's Theatre is located in Glasgow, Scotland. It was built for Howard & Wyndham Ltd under its chairman Baillie Michael Simons as a sister theatre of their Theatre Royal in the city and was designed by Frank Matcham, opening in 1904. The theatre is primarily a receiving house for touring musicals, dance, comedy and circus-type performances. The theatre also provides a prominent stage for local amateur productions. The King's Theatre also stages an annual pantomime, produced by First Family Entertainment.
