''All My Friends Are Here'' is a studio album by Turkish-American record producer, arranger, and composer Arif Mardin, released on June 15, 2010. It is the album that Arif Mardin referred to as his life's work, featuring performances by artists whom he produced over the years of his career, including Bette Midler, Chaka Khan, David Sanborn, Norah Jones, Carly Simon, Phil Collins among them. Whereas Arif Mardin's first two albums were instrumental, ''All My Friends Are Here'' is an album of his songs. Arif Mardin was a film buff and wrote collages for each song. In the trailer for '' The Greatest Ears in Town: The Arif Mardin Story'', Arif Mardin said the songs were visual, film music in his mind. Arif Mardin (March 15, 1932 – June 25, 2006) was a Turkish-American music producer, who worked with hundreds of artists across many different styles of music, including jazz, rock, soul, disco and country. He worked at Atlantic Records for over 30 years, as producer, arranger, studio manager, and vice president, before moving to EMI and serving as vice president and general manager of Manhattan Records. Margo Guryan
Margo Guryan (September 20, 1937 – November 8, 2021) was an American songwriter, singer, musician and lyricist. As a songwriter, her work was first recorded in 1958, although it was for her 1960s song " Sunday Mornin'", a hit for both Spanky and Our Gang and Oliver, that she is perhaps best known. Her songs have also been recorded by Cass Elliot, Glen Campbell and Astrud Gilberto, among others. Danny O'Keefe (born May 20, 1943) is an American folk singer and songwriter. Career In 1968, O'Keefe was a member of a four-man heavy psychedelic rock band named Calliope. The group recorded one album, ''Steamed'', for Buddah Records before disbanding.
