All-American Strongman Challenge
The All-American Strongman Challenge is a leading competition in strength athletics that takes place within the annual Californian FitExpo. Although North America has a number of prestigious strongman events determining the "Strongest Man in America", the "Strongest Man in Canada" and the "Strongest Man in North America", the All-American Strongman Challenge has added kudos because it is open to entrants from overseas with the potential to bring in leading international competitors as well. It is notable for the calibre of entrants it has attracted, with many World's Strongest Man finalists being represented. Kevin Nee (born August 21, 1985) is an American professional Strongman athlete. Biography Born in Framingham, Massachusetts, Nee began his strength training at the age of 14. As a high school student at Hopedale High School in Hopedale, Massachusetts, he began competing in the teenage level Strongman competitions. He won the teenage heavyweight division of 2002 USA Teenage Strongman. Nee has competed in five of the World's Strongest Man championships. In 2005, he competed in the tournament held in Chengdu, China; at the age of 20, he made history as the second youngest competitor ever to compete in this annual sports event. Mark Felix
Mark Felix (born 17 April 1966) is a Grenadian-English strongman competitor and regular entrant to the World's Strongest Man competition. He has competed at a record 17 World's Strongest Man contests, reaching the finals three times. He is the winner of the 2015 Ultimate Strongman Masters World Championships, 2016 WSF World Cup India and has won numerous international grip contests, including the Rolling Thunder World Championships in 2008 and 2009, as well as the Vice Grip Viking Challenge in 2011 and 2012. The Mohegan Sun Arena is a 10,000 seat multi-purpose arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, located inside the Mohegan Sun casino resort. The Arnold Strongman Classic is an annual competition featuring strength athletes from all over the world, determining who is the Strongest Man in the World. Created by Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jim Lorimer and Terry Todd, it is an offshoot of the Arnold Sports Festival which takes place annually in Columbus, Ohio, USA. Nick Best
Nick Best (born November 3, 1968) is an American professional strongman competitor and world champion powerlifter. Powerlifting Prior to competing in strongman, Best won the USAPL National Powerlifting Championships in the 125 kg class in 1996 and 1997, as well as the WDFPF World Powerlifting Championships in 1996. Strongman Best holds the International Federation of Strength Athletes world record for the 125 kg, 75 m Farmer's Walk, with a time of 47.3 seconds. He won the All-American Strongman Challenge in 2010, his career best win. This victory qualified him for the 2010 Arnold Strongman Classic, he finished ninth overall in that contest. Marshall White (born April 30, 1982) is an American professional strongman athlete. Personal life Born in Houston, Texas, White lived for a time in Port Angeles, Washington, and in Pagosa Springs, Colorado with his then-wife Rachel, whom he married in 2005 and divorced in 2013.
