Aljoša Vojnović
Aljoša Vojnović (born 24 October 1985) is a Croatian retired footballer. He currently works as a columnist for ''Telesport'' and as a pundit at Nova TV. Club career Aljoša Vojnović started his professional career in NK Osijek. In NK Osijek he was not in the first team plans so he tried his luck abroad. He was on try outs in a famous German club TSV 1860 München where the coach Marco Kurz said "he left a good impression on him". The transfer didn't go through. Later on, he tried getting an acquisition in some other clubs. First, in Norwegian club Raufoss Fotball and second, in Austrian Kärnten. Although he did spend a whole year in Kärnten (where he scored a few times) he returned to Croatia in the season 2008–2009 by signing a contract with newly promoted Croatia Sesvete. Some good performances and 4 goals in the Prva HNL which made him the club's second best scorer earned him a contract with NK Slaven Belupo. The Hrvatska nogometna liga () ( en, Croatian football league), also known as HNL or for sponsorship reasons the SuperSport HNL, is the top Croatian professional football league competition, established in 1992. Previously, it was called Prva Hrvatska nogometna liga (First Croatian Football League), but a league structure reorganization from 2022–23 led to name changes for the three top league levels. Overview The league was formed in 1991, following the dissolution of the Yugoslav First League, and is operated by the Croatian Football Federation. Croatia Sesvete
NK Croatia Sesvete was a Croatian football club based in the Sesvete district of the City of Zagreb. Previous club names: NK Sljeme (1957–1988), NK Sesvete (1988–1996), NK Badel Sesvete (1996–1997), NK Sesvete (1997–1998). The club was dissolved in 2012 due to financial irregularities. Newly formed NK Croatia Prigorje is seen as club's spiritual successor. 2010 Match fixing scandal In June 2010 Croatian Police started making arrests connected to match fixing in the Croatian League. 20 players in total, including 9 players from Croatia Sesvete were arrested. The nine were: Miljenko Bošnjak, Goran Jerković, Saša Mus, Ante Pokrajčić, Mario Čižmek, Marko Guja, Ivan Banović and Dario Šušak. Marco Kurz (born 16 May 1969) is a German football manager and former player who played as a defender. He last managed Australian side Melbourne Victory. Playing career Kurz, who played as a defender, started playing football at SV Sillenbuch, a small club in his native Stuttgart, and then for VfL Sindelfingen. At age 20, he had his breakthrough into professional football, when he signed a contract for his local Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart in the summer of 1989.
