Iranian Language
The Iranian languages or Iranic languages are a branch of the Indo-Iranian languages in the Indo-European language family that are spoken natively by the Iranian peoples, predominantly in the Iranian Plateau. The Iranian languages are grouped in three stages: Old Iranian (until 400 BCE), Middle Iranian (400 BCE–900 CE) and New Iranian (since 900 CE). Aliye Berger
Aliye Berger (24 December 1903 – 9 August 1974) was a Turkish artist, engraver, and painter. Berger is one of the first engravers of Turkish Republic. She is known for her expressionist engravings and winning the painting competition of Yapı Kredi Bank in 1954. Biography Berger was born on 24 December 1903 in Büyükada, İstanbul, Turkey. Her father was Kabaağaçlı Şakir Paşa and mother Giritli Sare İsmail Hanım. Her sister was the artist Fehrelnissa Zeid and her brother was the author Cevat Şakir Kabaağaçlı. Berger originally studied painting and piano lessons while attending the Lycée Notre Dame de Sion. In 1947 she married Carl Berger, her music teacher, but he died less than six months later. Berger then followed her sister to London, where she began to study engraving and sculpture, mentored by the artist John Buckland-Wright. Aliye Rona
Aliye Rona (née Dilligil; 14 October 1921 – 27 August 1996) was a Turkish film actress starring in more than 130 movies, mostly of drama and romance genre, from 1947 until her death. She was born in Daraa, French Mandate for Syria and the Lebanon (today southwestern Syria). After acting in theater, she transferred to cinema in 1947. Aliye Rona, who was sister of Avni Dilligil, actor, screenwriter and film director, and had a marriage with the actor Zihni Rona, died on 29 August 1996 in Istanbul. Fatma Aliye Topuz
Fatma Aliye Topuz (9 October 1862 – 13 July 1936), often known simply as Fatma Aliye or Fatma Aliye Hanım, was a Turkish novelist, columnist, essayist, women's rights activist and humanitarian. Although there was an earlier published novel by the Turkish female author Zafer Hanım in 1877, since that one remained her only novel, Fatma Aliye Hanım with her five novels is credited by literary circles as the first female novelist in Turkish literature and the Islamic world. Early life Fatma Aliye was born in Istanbul on 9 October 1862. She was the second child of the leading Ottoman civil servant, renowned historian and bureaucrat Ahmed Cevdet Pasha (1822–1895) and his wife Adviye Rabia Hanım. Selma Aliye Kavaf (born 1 July 1962) is a Turkish politician. She is the former Minister of State Responsible for Women and Family Affairs, and a member of parliament for Denizli of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP). Early life and career Kavaf has graduated from the Turkology department of Ankara University Language, History and Geography Faculty. She has worked as a teacher both in public and private schools for seven years. Political career Kavaf entered politics in 2002 after the foundation of Justice and Development Party. After the elections, Kavaf was promoted as the Founder General Presidency of Women's Branch of the Justice and Development Party.
