Alison Kharsyntiew
Alison Kharsyntiew is a former Indian football player and currently the head coach of Mohammedan SC Reserves and Academy. Coaching career After having his playing career cut short due to injury, Kharsyntiew went into coaching at the age of 19. He started his coaching career with Shillong Lajong, serving as an academy coach, before being promoted to lead the club's reserves in the Shillong Premier League. He led the reserves to the Shillong Premier League title in 2014. Kharsyntiew also worked as an assistant with Shillong Lajong's first-team, serving as assistant for Bobby Nongbet during the 2017–18 season. Shillong Lajong: 2018–2020 Following the 2017–18 I-League season, Kharsyntiew was appointed as interim head coach of Shillong Lajong for the Super Cup, following the dismissal of Bobby Nongbet. Shillong
Shillong () is a hill station and the capital of Meghalaya, a Indian state, state in northeastern India, which means "The Abode of Clouds". It is the headquarters of the East Khasi Hills district. Aizawl (; Mizo: ) is the capital of the state of Mizoram in India. Aizawl was officially established on 25 February 1890. With a population of 293,416, it is the largest city in the state. I-League Managers
The I-League (known as Hero I-League for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp) is the second-tier men's professional football competition of the Indian football league system. It is currently contested by 12 clubs across the country with the winners getting promotion to play in the premier division, the Indian Super League. The competition was founded in 2007 as the successor to the National Football League, with the first season starting in November 2007. The league was launched as India's first ever top-tier professional football league with the aim to increase the player pool for the India national team. Naorem Mahesh Singh (born 3 March 1999) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Indian Super League club East Bengal FC and the India national team. Club career Early career Born in Manipur, Singh began his career in his home state with Birchandra Memorial Sporting Club. He soon joined the youth side of Shillong Lajong, playing for the club in the Shillong Premier League. Shillong Lajong Prior to the 2018–19 season, Singh was promoted to the first-team. 2018–19 I-League
The 2018–19 I-League was the 12th season of the I-League, the top Indian professional football league, since its establishment in 2007. The season started on 26 October 2018 and is scheduled to conclude in March 2019. Unlike the Indian Super League, the I-League did not take a mid-season break during the 2019 AFC Asian Cup. Minerva Punjab was the defending champions having won the previous season. Real Kashmir joined as a promoted club from the I-League 2nd Division. Churchill Brothers, having been relegated the previous season, were given an exemption by the All India Football Federation for this season. Chennai City FC were the champions for this season, winning the title on the last day. This was their first title win in the history of the club.
