Alisha Ann Itkin (born April 16, 1968) is an American freestyle and dance-pop singer who had several club hits in the 1980s and 1990s. Early life and career Alisha was born on April 16, 1968, in Brooklyn, New York City. At age 8, she began receiving vocal lessons and was coaxed into the music business by her parents, who arranged for studio recording sessions and recitals. At age 14, she joined the rock/dance group The Babysitters in Brooklyn, and recorded a demo that her parents started shopping to various record companies. Vanguard Records brought the tape to producer Mark S. Berry, who had been looking for a vocalist for what would become Alisha's first single " All Night Passion". Released in February 1984, the single became a club hit, peaking at No. 4 on the Hot Dance Club Songs chart. She has appeared for Shimmer Women Athletes, Women Superstars Uncensored, and has appeared for many independent promotions in the United States, including Ring of Honor and Jersey All Pro Wrestling. Alicia, officially the Municipality of Alicia ( ceb, Munisipyo sa Alicia; tgl, Bayan ng Alicia), is a 4th class municipality in the province of Bohol, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 24,374 people. Located from Tagbilaran, it was formerly part of Mabini and was known as Batuanan (or Batuanon). ''Drosera aliciae'', the Alice sundew, is a carnivorous plant in the family Droseraceae. It is native to the Cape Provinces of South Africa, like '' Drosera capensis'', the cape sundew, and is one of the most common sundews in cultivation. The plant forms small, tight rosettes of wedge-shaped leaves, up to 5 cm in diameter. Under conditions of good lighting, the insect-snagging tentacles will become deeply coloured with anthocyanin pigments, which probably aid in its attraction of insect prey. The plant is relatively easy to grow, and produces attractive scapes of pink flowers, which are held about 30 cm away from the carnivorous leaves, so as to prevent pollinators from becoming ensnared. Wim Verstappen (4 May 1937 – 24 July 2004) was a Dutch film director and producer, television director, and screen writer. Verstappen grew up in Curaçao. He began studies at the Netherlands Film and Television Academy in 1961, and released his first movie in 1966, ''De minder gelukkige terugkeer van Joszef Katus naar het land van Rembrandt''. He joined the editorial staff of the film magazine ''Skoop'' in 1964, working alongside Nicolai van der Heyde, Gied Jaspars, and Pim de la Parra.
