Alice Eklund
Alice Eklund (21 July 1896 – 6 October 1983) was a Swedish stage and TV actress. She also directed one film in 1936. Bromma () is a borough (''stadsdelsområde'') in the western part of Stockholm, Sweden, forming part of the Stockholm Municipality. Bromma is primarily made up of Bromma Parish and Västerled Parish. Ernst Eklund (actor)
Ernst Olof Eklund (6 August 1882 – 3 August 1971) was a Swedish film actor and theatre director. He appeared in 40 films between 1914 and 1962 and was also the director of six different theatres. Biography Eklund was born at Östervåla in Uppsala County, Sweden. He began playing amateur theater in Gävle. During his career he was director of several theaters: Blancheteatern 1917–1926, Comediteatern 1923–1938, Konserthusteatern 1926–1927, Skansenteatern 1934–1940, Oscarsteatern 1938–1941 and Lisebergsteatern in Gothenburg 1947–1956. He was married to actress and theatre director Alice Eklund (1896–1983), daughter of actress Anna Hofman-Uddgren (1868–1947) and screenwriter Karl Gustaf Uddgren (1865–1927). He was the father of actor Nils Eklund (born 1927). Anna Hofman-Uddgren
Anna Maria Viktoria Hofman-Uddgren (23 February 18681 June 1947) ''née'' Hammarström; also known as ''Hoffman'' and ''Hofmann'', was a Swedish actress, cabaret singer, music hall and revue artist, theatre director, and film director. Until 2016, she was referred to as the first woman to become a film director in Sweden. Life Anna Hofman-Uddgren was born in Hedvig Eleonora parish on Östermalm in Stockholm, Sweden. She was the daughter of Emma Hammarström (1849–1910). Her mother Emma Hammarström was from the peasantry and had moved to the capital as young. She was officially listed in the register as a widow, but in reality she had never been married, and the man she registered as her former husband never excisted. During the childhood of Anna Hofman-Uddgren, her mother managed a tobacco store, and was given an irregular allowance from the king. Blanche Theatre
Blanche Theatre or in Swedish Blancheteatern (before 1915 called Blanch's theater, and for a time the Vaudeville Theatre), was a private theater located in a building on West Tradgardsgatan next to Kungsträdgården in Stockholm, Sweden.
