Ali İhsan Varol (; born 28 June 1976, Istanbul) is a Turkish TV show presenter, producer, and actor of Circassian origin. Known for his cheerful personality, Varol is the presenter and producer of the TV Show Word Game (Kelime Oyunu). As of 2021, he has hosted this game show for 9 years. He also starred as Yiğit in TV series, Kardeş Payı. Biography He was born in 1976 in Istanbul to Circassian parents who originate from the Circassian-majority district of Kayseri Pınarbaşı. He entered the Ankara University Department of Astronomy and Space Sciences but later changed his mind and entered History, and finally he tried Public Administration. The Circassians (also referred to as Cherkess or Adyghe; Adyghe and Kabardian: Адыгэхэр, romanized: ''Adıgəxər'') are an indigenous Northwest Caucasian ethnic group and nation native to the historical country-region of Circassia in the North Caucasus. ''Kardeş Payı'' is a Turkish television series produced by NTC Medya. The main characters are two brothers (Ahmet Kural and Murat Cemcir) and their sister (Seda Bakan). The two brothers are plumbers, however they are trying to invent an engine, working with boron or water. Their goal is to make the world a better place. The father of the characters is a fanatic fan of Besiktas and he gave the names of 3 legendary football players of Besiktas to his kids. Metin, Ali, Feyyaz. But surprisingly the third child was a girl so he changed the name of Feyyaz to "Feyyza". Pınarbaşı () is a town and district of Kayseri Province in the Central Anatolia region of Turkey. The population is mostly made up of Circassians who settled this area by the Ottomans after their migration to Turkey as a result of Circassian genocide. Bodrum () is a port city in Muğla Province, southwestern Turkey, at the entrance to the Gulf of Gökova. Adyghe Language
Adyghe ( or ; ady, Адыгабзэ, Adygabzə, ), also known as West Circassian ( ady, link=no, кӏахыбзэ, khaxybzə), is a Northwest Caucasian language spoken by the western subgroups of Circassians. It is spoken mainly in Russia, as well as in Turkey, Jordan, Syria and Israel, where they settled after the Circassian genocide. It is closely related to the Kabardian (East Circassian) language, though some reject the distinction between the two languages in favor of both being dialects of a unitary Circassian language.
