Ali Turan
Ali Turan (born 6 September 1983) is a Turkish footballer who most recently played for Konyaspor. Club career Turan began his professional career with Kayserispor, and went on loan to Kayseri Erciyesspor during the 2006–07 Super Lig season. He was one of the young players of Kayserispor whom former coach Ertuğrul Sağlam trusted and gave the opportunity to play past seasons. He's regarded as a promising center back. From next season Turan would be playing for Galatasaray as he has signed a pre-contract. Kayserispor was very angry with Turan's decision so they have lowered him to their reserve team and removed him from captain. Now he playing for Antalyaspor Ali Turan signed a 3-year deal with Antalyaspor after getting released from Galatasaray in January 2011. Kayseri
Kayseri (; el, Καισάρεια) is a large Industrialisation, industrialised List of cities in Turkey, city in Central Anatolia, Turkey, and the capital of Kayseri Province, Kayseri province. The Turkish Super Cup ( Turkish: ''TFF Süper Kupa''), as it is currently known, is the annual super cup football match contested between the previous season's Süper Lig champions and the Turkish Cup winners in Turkey. It was originally known as the ''Cumhurbaşkanlığı Kupası'' (Presidential Cup) from 1966 to 1998. No competition was held between 1999 and 2005, although there was a substitute competition played under the name of Atatürk Cup in 2000. 2010–11 Süper Lig
The 2010–11 Süper Lig (known as the ''Spor Toto Süper Lig'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 53rd season since its establishment. The season began on 14 August 2010 and concluded on 22 May 2011. Fenerbahçe claimed their 18th title, but the season was marred by the 2011 Turkish football match-fixing scandal which involved 17 Süper Lig teams and dozens of people, including club bosses and Turkish internationals. Teams Ankaraspor, Denizlispor and Diyarbakırspor were relegated at the end of the 2009–10 season after finishing in the bottom three places of the standings; Ankaraspor were automatically relegated by the Turkish Football Federation because of the election of Ahmet Gökçek, who was already a member of the board of Ankaraspor, as chairman of Ankaragücü.
