Alfred Lauck Parson (24 October 1889 – 1 January 1970) was a British chemist and physicist, whose " magneton theory" of the atom contributed to the history of chemistry.Alfred L. The toroidal ring model, known originally as the Parson magneton or magnetic electron, is a physical model of subatomic particles. It is also known as the plasmoid ring, vortex ring, or helicon ring.
