Alfie Joey
Alfie Joey is a writer, comic, actor, impressionist, singer, presenter, and artist/cartoonist. He hosted the flagship breakfast show on BBC Radio Newcastle from 2009, until his last show on 28 October 2022. He was nominated Best Compère at the 2006 Chortle Awards. Joey returned to Edinburgh in 2011 with his new one man comedy musical, 'Monopolise' which did a short tour of North East theatres and the Liverpool comedy festival. In 2015, at the North east comedy festival, Jesterval, he began performing in a double act, The Mimic Men, alongside Britain's Got Talent impressionist Cal Halbert. He appeared in the first two series on Mitch Benn's Crimes Against Music on BBC Radio 4 with Robin Ince, first broadcast in 2004 and 2005. He is a lifelong Sunderland A.F.C. fan. Peterlee
Peterlee is a town in County Durham, England. It lies between Sunderland to the north, Hartlepool to the south, the Durham Coast to the east and Durham to the west. It gained town status in 1948 under the New Towns Act 1946. The act also created the nearby settlement of Newton Aycliffe and later Washington, Tyne and Wear. History The case for founding Peterlee as a new town was put forward in ''Farewell Squalor'' by Easington Rural District Council Surveyor C. W. Clarke, who also proposed that the town be named after the celebrated Durham miners' leader Peter Lee. Sunderland 'Til I Die
''Sunderland 'Til I Die'' is a sports documentary series. Produced by Fulwell 73 (named as a homage to Sunderland A.F.C. by its founders), the series documents the events around English football club Sunderland A.F.C. Released on 14 December 2018, the first series documents Sunderland's 2017–18 season which saw the club playing in the EFL Championship having been relegated from the Premier League the season prior. As a result of the first series success a second series was produced documenting the following season in 2018-19, which coincided with the club's first season under the ownership of Stewart Donald; this was released on 1 April 2020. A third and final series is scheduled to be released in the near future documenting the club's promotion to the EFL Championship in 2022.
