Alexis DeJoria
Alexis DeJoria (born September 24, 1977) is an American drag racer who competes in the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Funny Car category. She previously drove a Toyota Camry for Kalitta Motorsports (owned by Connie Kalitta), sponsored by Patrón Spirits Company. She will return to competitive racing in 2020 with a new team led by crew chiefs Del Worsham and Nicky Boninfante. As of 2019, she was the third richest female athlete in the World, and as of 2022 the second richest with net worth $100 million. Career DeJoria began her NHRA career in 2005, initially competing in the Super Gas category, before moving into a Super Comp dragster. Eight months after her NHRA debut, she went on to win the Sportsman Nationals in Fontana, California. DeJoria spent the next two years racing on the West coast in Top Alcohol Funny Car (TA/FC). NHRA Summernationals
The NHRA Summernationals were an annual drag racing event run by the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA). The first annual event was held in July 1970, at York U.S. 30 Dragway near York, Pennsylvania. Subsequent events were held at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park, outside Englishtown, New Jersey. After Old Bridge Township Raceway Park ceased all drag racing operations in 2018, the event was moved to Virginia Motorsports Park, just outside Petersburg, Virginia, and the Summernationals endedreplaced by the Virginia NHRA Nationals. In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Summernationals is scheduled to be held at the Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis. Earlscourt Historic District
Earlscourt Historic District is a residential historic district in Narragansett, Rhode Island, United States. It is centered on a stretch of Earles Court, between Gibson Avenue and Noble Street, and includes a few properties on the adjacent Gibson Avenue and Woodward and Westminster Streets. It includes nine residential properties developed in the 1880s and 1890s, during the height of Narragansett Pier's popularity as a summer resort community. All are in the then-popular Shingle Style, and most were designed by well-known architects. The Sherry Cottages, a series of four buildings on Gibson Avenue, were all designed by McKim, Mead & White, who also designed The Towers. The other development is that on Earles Court, designed by D.
