Alexia Manombe-Ncube
Alexia Turimei Manombe-Ncube (born 7 December 1964) is a Namibian politician. She is deputy minister of Disability Affairs since March 2015. Manombe-Ncube was born Alexia Muningirua on 7 December 1964 in Kalkfeld, South West Africa (today the Otjozondjupa region of Namibia). She obtained a diploma in community-based social development from Coady International Institute in Antigonish, Canada and between 1990 and 2005 was employed at the Namibian Ministry of Health and Social Services. Manombe-Ncube became been a non-voting SWAPO member of Parliament in 2005 when president Hifikepunye Pohamba chose her as one of his six appointees. At that time, she was the first disabled Namibian parliamentarian. In March 2015 she was appointed deputy minister of Disability Affairs, a portfolio under the Minister of Presidential Affairs. Kalkfeld
Kalkfeld is a settlement in the Otjozondjupa Region of Namibia. It is situated halfway between Omaruru, Namibia, Omaruru and Otjiwarongo on the national road C33 and belongs to the Omatako Constituency, Omatako electoral constituency. The place normally receives an annual average rainfall of , although in the 2010/2011 rainy season were measured. Due to its location in former Damaraland, the majority of the inhabitants speak Khoekhoe language, Khoekhoegowab or Otjiherero. Economy and infrastructure Kalkfeld was proclaimed a village in 1991 and governed by its own village council until 1996. It was then downgraded to ''settlement'' due to a lack of growth. Khomasdal
Khomasdal is a suburb of Namibia's capital of Windhoek in the Khomas Region. Founded as Windhoek's residential area for Coloured people, Khomasdal still is primarily composed of Coloured people. In October 2006, the City of Windhoek announced the construction of an informal market in Khomasdal. The market will give the Khomasdal community the opportunity to generate their own income and even create more jobs in the process. Windhoek (, , ) is the capital and largest city of Namibia.
