Alexandru Neagu
Alexandru "Sandu" Neagu (19 July 1948 – 17 April 2010) was a Romanian footballer who played as a striker. Club career Alexandru Neagu, nicknamed '' Cappellini from Giulești'' by journalist Ioan Chirilă was born on 19 July 1948 in the Rahova neighborhood from Bucharest, but grew up in the Giulești neighborhood. He started playing football for the junior squads of Giulești based club, Rapid București, this being the team for which he would play all of his career, making his Divizia A debut under coach Valentin Stănescu on 31 March 1966 in a 1–0 away loss against Petrolul Ploiești and in the next season he won the competition, Stănescu using him in only 8 games in which he scored one goal, as the first options for the offence were Ion Ionescu and Emil Dumitriu. Alexandru Cătălin Neagu (born 26 January 1993) is a Romanian professional footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for CSM Slatina. Neagu started playing professional football for FC Argeș Pitești; from there he was transferred to Real Murcia, in Segunda División. Neagu started his career in Liga I (Romania) playing two years for Pandurii Târgu Jiu, where he was loaned to different teams before finally joining CFR Cluj on 27 July 2016. Cirrhosis, also known as liver cirrhosis or hepatic cirrhosis, and end-stage liver disease, is the impaired liver function caused by the formation of scar tissue known as fibrosis due to damage caused by liver disease. Damage causes tissue repair and subsequent formation of scar tissue, which over time can replace normal functioning tissue, leading to the impaired liver function of cirrhosis. Giulești-Valentin Stănescu Stadium was a football stadium in Bucharest, Romania. It was the home stadium of FC Rapid București for almost 80 years. It was named after Valentin Stănescu, the coach that helped Rapid to win its first title, but was most commonly known as the "Giulești Stadium", after the name of the neighborhood in which it was located. Landmarks near the stadium include Podul Grant, Giulești Theatre and Prunaru market. Gara de Nord is not far away from the stadium and the Grivița Railway Yards are right next to it. The Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, sometimes referred to as the European Fairs Cup, Fairs Cities' Cup, or simply as the Fairs Cup, was a European football competition played between 1955 and 1971. It is often considered the predecessor to the UEFA Cup (now the UEFA Europa League). The Liga 2, most often spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07. It is currently sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company with the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Divisions Since its inception in 1934, Liga II had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions.
