Alexandre Geniez
Alexandre Geniez (born 16 April 1988) is a French professional cyclist, who last rode for UCI ProTeam . In March 2022 Geniez was convicted of domestic violence charges and given a four month suspended prison sentence. On 31 May 2022 terminated his contract effective immediately. Career One of his prestigious feats was winning the white jersey awarded to the best young rider in the 2011 Tour de Luxembourg. Geniez left at the end of the 2012 season, and joined for the 2013 season. In April 2015, Geniez won the Tro Bro Leon, a race cycled on asphalt and sandy roads, outsprinting four breakaway companions to accomplish the feat. In August 2020, Geniez signed a two-year contract with the team, from the 2021 season. 2014 Volta Ao Algarve
The 2014 Volta ao Algarve was the 40th edition of the Volta ao Algarve cycling stage race. It was rated as a 2.1 event on the UCI Europe Tour, and was held from 19 to 23 February 2014, in Portugal. The race was won by rider Michał Kwiatkowski – taking the first stage race win of his career – after taking the race lead with a solo stage victory on the second stage; he further extended his lead in the following day's individual time trial, before holding his lead to the end of the race. Kwiatkowski's winning margin over runner-up Alberto Contador of was 19 seconds, and world champion Rui Costa () completed the podium, 13 seconds down on Contador and 32 seconds in arrears of Kwiatkowski. La Méditerranéenne, previously known as Tour Méditerranéen, is a professional road bicycle racing event held in Spain, France and Italy, close to the Mediterranean Seaside. The 2011 Critérium International was the 80th edition of the Critérium International cycling stage race. It started on 26 March in Porto-Vecchio and ended on 27 March in Porto-Vecchio and consisted of 3 stages, including 2 stages on the same day; a flat stage and an individual time trial, held as the second and third stages.
