Alexandre Cougnaud (born 5 December 1991) is a French Auto racing, racing driver. who currently competes in the European Le Mans Series with Graff Racing. Career Early career Cougnaud, born in Les Sables-d'Olonne, France, began karting in 2002 and raced primarily in his native France country. Having finished sixth in the Formula Kart France series in 2008, he entered the Formul'Academy Euro Series the following year, driving for Signatech; he finished 14th in the championship, with eight points. In 2010, he entered four rounds of the Formula Renault 2.0 Alps, Formula Renault 2.0 Suisse for ARTA Engineering; he took a single podium, and finished ninth in the championship, with 57 points. Les Sables-d'Olonne (; French meaning: "The Sands of Olonne"; Poitevin: ''Lés Sablles d'Oloune'') is a seaside town in Western France, on the Atlantic Ocean. A subprefecture of the department of Vendée, Pays de la Loire, it has the administrative level of commune. On 1 January 2019, the municipalities of Olonne-sur-Mer, Château-d'Olonne and Les Sables-d'Olonne merged, retaining the latter name. 2013 European F3 Open Season
The 2013 European F3 Open Championship was the fifth and final season European F3 Open Championship . Despite missing the opening round of the season, Ed Jones of Team West-Tec was crowned champion by nine points on dropped scores over RP Motorsport driver Sandy Stuvik. 2016 European Le Mans Series
The 2016 European Le Mans Series was the thirteenth season of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest's (ACO) European Le Mans Series. The six-event season began at Silverstone Circuit, in conjunction with the FIA World Endurance Championship, on 16 April and finished at Autódromo do Estoril on 23 October. Regulations The GTC class for GT3 was dropped due to a lack of entries during 2015 and the creation of the GT3 Le Mans Cup. Calendar The provisional 2016 calendar was announced at 5 September 2015. The calendar comprises six events, featuring the same five circuits that hosted events in 2015 and for the first time since 2011 it will include event at Spa. For the fourth consecutive season, Silverstone hosted the opening rounds of both the European Le Mans Series and the FIA World Endurance Championship. Equipe Alméras Frères (''French:'' Alméras Brothers Team) is a French auto racing team founded by Jean-Marie Alméras and his brother Jacques Alméras in 1971. The racing team is an extension of the automotive dealership in Montpellier through which the brothers tune, develop, and restore Porsches, in which the team is commonly known as Porsche Alméras. Early success in French and European hill climbs led to rallying efforts across Europe, including overall victories at the Monte Carlo Rally and Tour de Corse, and the full support of Porsche in developing their 911 model for rallying. Small forays into sports car racing in the 1970s eventually shifted to the team running sports cars full-time in the 1980s, including multiple participations at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and eventually an effort in the World Sportscar Championship.
