Alexandra M. Hunt (born ) is an American political candidate, public health worker, published research scientist, former stripper, and activist from Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Democratic Party. Hunt has run to represent in the United States House of Representatives and to serve as city controller of Philadelphia. Early life and career Hunt is from Rochester, New York. She had attended the private school Allendale Columbia school in the suburbs, where both of her parents worked as teachers. She has a twin brother. She moved out of her mother's house while still in high school. Hunt attended the University of Richmond; she worked her way through college by working as a server and a stripper. She completed her Bachelor of Science in psychology in 2014. Dwight Evans (born May 16, 1954) is an American politician of the Democratic Party serving as the U.S representative for Pennsylvania's 3rd congressional district since 2019. The district, numbered as the 2nd district during his first term, includes most of Center City, West, and Northwest Philadelphia. Evans defeated incumbent Chaka Fattah in the Democratic primary election, and won a special election on November 8, 2016, following Fattah's resignation from Congress after he faced corruption charges.
