Alexander Beyer
Alexander Beyer (born 24 June 1973) is a German actor. He was born in Erfurt, East Germany. He has appeared in such films as Volker Schloendorff's ''The Legend of Rita'' (''Die Stille nach dem Schuss'', 1999), Leander Haußmann's ''Sun Alley'' (''Sonnenallee'', 2000), Johannes Kiefer's ''Gregor's Greatest Invention'' (''Gregors groesste Erfindung'', 2001), which was nominated for an Academy Award for Live Action Short Film in 2002 and Wolfgang Becker's ''Good Bye Lenin!'' (2003), among others. Beyer lives and works in Zurich, Switzerland, and Berlin, Germany. ''Deutschland 83'' is a 2015 German television series starring Jonas Nay as a 24-year-old native of East Germany who, in 1983, is sent to West Germany as an undercover spy for the HVA, the foreign intelligence agency of the Stasi. It is a co-production of AMC Networks' SundanceTV and RTL Television by the production company, UFA Fiction, with international distribution by RTL Group's FremantleMedia International and North American distribution by Kino Lorber. Sinan Akkuş (born 17 December 1971) is a Turkish-German director, writer and actor. Life and work Sinan Akkuş was born in Turkey. As a child he moved to Germany in 1973. After graduating from high school in Kassel, he studied philosophy, German language and literature from 1992 to 1994. In 1994 he also began studying visual communication with a focus on film and television. In addition, Akkuş worked for the film and television production company ''kigali-films'', where he was involved in camera work, editing and conception of corporate videos.
