Alex Waller
Alexander Marshall Waller (born 14 February 1990) is a rugby union player for Premiership side Northampton Saints. Club career Born in Kettering, Waller is a product of the Northampton Saints Academy and made his debut in November 2009 against the Ospreys. Waller soon established himself in the Saints' first team and featured in their double winning season five years after hit first run out in a Saints shirt. The young prop began both the European Rugby Challenge Cup and Aviva Premiership finals on the bench but came on at Twickenham to score the Premiership winning try in extra time as Saints beat Saracens to claim the title. Since then Waller has become a regular fixture in the Saints team and in the 2017/18 racked up his 150th consecutive appearance in the Aviva Premiership to take the title for the most consecutive appearances in the league’s history. Kettering
Kettering is a market and industrial town in North Northamptonshire, England. It is located north of London and north-east of Northampton, west of the River Ise, a tributary of the River Nene. The Scotland A team are the second national rugby union team behind the Scottish national side. The first Scotland 'A' fixture took place in 1990. History Unlike association football, where the main team is supposed to be the "A" team, Scotland 'A' in rugby union is actually equivalent to the Scotland B football team. 2013–14 European Challenge Cup
The 2013–14 Amlin Challenge Cup was the 18th and final season of the European Challenge Cup, Europe's second tier club rugby union competition. A total of 23 teams participated: 20 in the pool stage, plus three teams parachuting into the knockout stages from the Heineken Cup. The original 20 teams represented six countries. The pool stage began on 10 October 2013 and ran until 19 January 2014, followed by the knockout stages. The final was originally to be held in France in May 2014, however the Federation Française de Rugby subsequently announced that they had withdrawn their application to host due to uncertainty over the availability of Stade de France. The EPCR Challenge Cup is an annual rugby union competition organised by European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR). It is the second-tier competition for clubs based in European leagues behind the European Rugby Champions Cup. From its inception in 1996 to 2014, it was known as the European Challenge Cup and governed by European Rugby Cup (ERC). Following disagreements in the structure of the tournament's format and division of revenue, the English and French leagues withdrew to form the EPCR, which organized the Challenge Cup and the Champions Cup since the 2014–15 season. The England national rugby union team represents England in men's international rugby union. They compete in the annual Six Nations Championship with France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. England have won the championship on 29 occasions (as well as sharing 10 victories) – winning the Grand Slam 13 times and the Triple Crown 26 times – making them the most successful outright winners in the tournament's history.
