Alex Valencia
Alex Marcel Lund Valencia (born 22 September 1979) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a right winger for Åsane. He has previously played for top-flight clubs in Norway and Denmark. Valencia is of Colombian descent and has been capped for the Norwegian national team in both football and futsal. Early life Valencia is son of the former Tromsø IL player Arnt Hugo Lund, who played approximately 300 matches between 1964 and 1979. Valencia was born after his father and his Colombian mother moved to Bergen to study. He lived in Bergen and played for Åsane for his entire childhood, with the exception of a short stay in Trøndelag where he played youth-football for KIL/Hemne. Valencia was known as one of the most talented footballers in Hordaland and transferred from Åsane to Brann in 1998. Futsal
Futsal is a football-based game played on a hardcourt, hard court smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five-a-side football and Indoor soccer, indoor football. Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper. Unlimited substitutions are permitted. Unlike some other forms of indoor soccer, it is played on a hard court surface marked by lines; walls or boards are not used. It is played with a smaller, harder, lower-bounce ball than football. The surface, ball and rules favour ball control and passing in small spaces. The game emphasizes control, improvisation, creativity and technique. 2005 Tippeligaen
The 2005 Tippeligaen was the 61st completed season of top division football in Norway. The season began on 10 April 2005, and was concluded with the last of 26 rounds played on 29 October. 3 points were given for wins and 1 for draws. Vålerenga, the winner of this year's season entered the second round of next year's Champions League qualification, while the runners-up ( Start), number 3 ( Lyn) and the Norwegian Cup winners enter the UEFA Cup qualification round. The top four teams qualified for the 2004–05 Royal League. 1,726,145 people attended the matches, a new record for the Tippeligaen and 300,000 more than the previous year. Tom Nordlie
Tom Nordlie (born 2 March 1962) is a Norwegian football coach. He has managed several top Norwegian football teams. Playing career Nordlie was not a footballer himself, but he did play for the national water polo team. He has his education from the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences. Managing career Nordlie is a household name in Norway, having managed several top-flight teams. He is known for introducing the concept ''kontrollert sinnsyk'', i.e. "controlledly insane". In 1998, he led Odd Grenland to promotion to the Norwegian top division, and to a respectable seventh place the next season. Erik Francisco Solér (born 6 August 1960) is a Norwegian former professional footballer, a former football agent, and former General Manager and Sporting Director of New York Red Bulls as well as a football commentator for Champions League and national team games on Norwegian TV on a part-time basis. The Norwegian First Division, also called 1. divisjon and OBOS-ligaen (named sponsor is property developer OBOS), is the second-highest level of the Norwegian football league system. Mons Ivar Mjelde (born 17 November 1967) is a Norwegian association football, footballer coach and former player who works as head coach for the Norwegian club Øygarden FK, Øygarden. Teitur Thordarson ( is, Teitur Þórðarson, born 14 January 1952) is an Icelandic football coach. He is the older brother of Ólafur Þórðarson. Eliteserien () is a Norwegian professional league for association football clubs. At the top of the Norwegian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition.
