Alex Kedoh Hill
Alexander Kedoh Hill (born September 8, 1990) is a professional lacrosse player for the Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League and the Six Nations Chiefs of Major Series Lacrosse. Hailing from Six Nations of the Grand River, Hill began his career with the hometown Six Nations Arrows of the Ontario Junior A Lacrosse League, with whom he played from 2009 to 2011. Hill was eventually called up to the Six Nations Chiefs, and was a member of the 2013 and 2014 Mann Cup winning Chiefs club. Initially drafted by Edmonton Rush in the 2010 NLL Entry Draft, Hill saw success in his first game, as he recorded two goals and two assists in a 10-7 loss to the Boston Blazers. Buffalo Bandits
The Buffalo Bandits are a professional box lacrosse team in the East Division of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). They play at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. The Bandits played in the Major Indoor Lacrosse League from 1992 to 1997, then in its successor the NLL since 1998. The Bandits are owned by Hockey Western New York LLC, a division of Pegula Sports and Entertainment led by Terry Pegula who also owns the Buffalo Sabres and the Buffalo Bills. History The Bandits played their first season in 1992. They played home games at Buffalo Memorial Auditorium sharing with the Buffalo Sabres until its closure in 1996. The Mann Cup is the trophy awarded to the senior men's box lacrosse champions of Canada. Scott Self
Scott Self (born August 4, 1979) is a retired Canadian professional lacrosse player who last played for the New England Black Wolves in the National Lacrosse League. Personal life Scott Self who started playing lacrosse when he was seven first picked up the sport when he watched his younger brother, Brad play it. Growing up, Self was very competitive in both hockey and lacrosse. In 1999, Self was drafted by the Buffalo Bandits while he was playing college hockey at the University of Guelph. International Scott Self played for team Canada. He won a gold medal with Team Canada at the 2007 ILF World Indoor Lacrosse Championship when they beat the Iroquois Nationals 15-14 in overtime. The 2012 National Lacrosse League season, the 26th in the history of the NLL, began on January 8, 2012 and ended with the Championship game on May 19, 2012. The Rochester Knighthawks won their third NLL Championship, and first-ever in Rochester, defeating the Edmonton Rush 9-6 in the final game. Mid-way through the off-season, the Boston Blazers announced that they would not be participating in the 2012 season due to problems in securing a facility in which to play. A dispersal draft was held and Dan Dawson, for the third time in his career, was the first overall pick, heading to the Philadelphia Wings. Kyle Rubisch was taken second by the Edmonton Rush, and the Minnesota Swarm chose Anthony Cosmo and Josh Sanderson with the third and fourth picks. Ryan Cousins
Ryan Cousins (born April 1, 1981 in Toronto, Ontario) is a former professional lacrosse player. Cousins played for eleven seasons in the National Lacrosse League, winning a championship in 2012 with the Rochester Knighthawks. He was selected to play in the National Lacrosse League All-Star Game in both 2004 and 2005. Cousins plays for the Victoria Shamrocks of the WLA in the offseason. Cousins was awarded the National Lacrosse League Defensive Player of the Year Award in both the 2007 and 2008 seasons. During the 2009 NLL season, he was named a reserve to the All-Star game. Andy Secore
Andy Secore (born April 28, 1984) was a former lacrosse player for the Edmonton Rush in the National Lacrosse League. Secore also represented the Iroquois Nationals in international play. He is a former assistant coach of the Rochester Knighthawks. Professional career Andy Secore was drafted 20th overall in the 2005 NLL Daft by the Calgary Roughnecks but never made an appearance for the Roughnecks. Secore played for the Arizona Sting in his first two seasons before being drafted in the NLL 2007 dispersal draft to the Minnesota Swarm and was signed to a one-year contract. In his season with the Swarm he recorded 76 points in just 14 starts and was called to play in the All-Star Game but was unable to participate due to an injury. The Boston Blazers were an indoor lacrosse team in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The Blazers were based in Boston, Massachusetts, and began play in the 2009 NLL season.
