Alex Gogić
Alexandros Gogić ( el, Αλέξανδρος Γκόγκιτς; sr-Cyrl, Александрос Гогић; born 13 April 1994) is a Cypriot professional footballer who plays as a defender and midfielder for club St Mirren and the Cyprus national team. He has also previously played for Scottish clubs Hamilton Academical, and Hibernian. Early and personal life Gogić is the son of Serbian-born Cypriot international footballer Siniša Gogić. Club career Gogić played youth football for Greek club Olympiacos and Welsh club Swansea City. He signed for Scottish club Hamilton Academical in February 2017. In March 2017, Gogić signed a contract extension with Hamilton until May 2018, before signing a further extension, until 2020, in December 2017. On 3 June 2020 he announced that he had left the club. Nicosia
Nicosia ( ; el, Λευκωσία, Lefkosía ; tr, Lefkoşa ; hy, Նիկոսիա, romanized: ''Nikosia''; Cypriot Arabic: Nikusiya) is the largest city, capital, and seat of government of Cyprus. It is located near the centre of the Mesaoria plain, on the banks of the River Pedieos. UEFA Conference League
The UEFA Europa Conference League (abbreviated as UECL) is an annual football club competition organised by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) for eligible European football clubs. Clubs qualify for the competition based on their performance in their national leagues and cup competitions. It is the third tier of active European club football competitions, after the Champions League and the Europa League. First contested in the 2021–22 season, the competition serves as the bottom level of the Europa League, which was reduced from 48 to 32 teams in the group stage. The competition is primarily contested by teams from lower-ranked UEFA member associations. No teams qualify directly to the group stage, with 10 teams eliminated in the Europa League play-offs and the rest coming from the Europa Conference League qualifiers. 2019–20 Scottish Cup
The 2019–20 Scottish Cup was the 135th season of Scotland's most prestigious football knockout competition. The tournament was sponsored by bookmaker William Hill in what was the final season of a nine-year partnership, after contract negotiations saw the initial five-year contract extended for an additional four years in October 2015. This was the first season in which a match from every round of the tournament proper is broadcast live via TV partners Premier Sports and BBC Scotland, with one match per rounds 1–3 being shown live on the BBC Scotland channel for the first time. On 13 March 2020, the competition was indefinitely suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The competition resumed with the semi-finals on the weekend of 31 October and was completed with the final on 20 December 2020. 2016–17 Scottish Premiership
The 2016–17 Scottish Premiership (known as the Ladbrokes Premiership for sponsorship reasons) was the fourth season of the Scottish Premiership, the highest division of Scottish football. The fixtures were published on 17 June 2016. The season began on 6 August 2016. Celtic were the defending champions. This season marked the return of Rangers to the top division of Scottish football, four years after their liquidation process. Twelve teams contested the league: Aberdeen, Celtic, Dundee, Hamilton Academical, Heart of Midlothian, Inverness CT, Kilmarnock, Motherwell, Partick Thistle, Rangers, Ross County and St Johnstone.
