Alex Cuthbert
Alex Cuthbert (born 5 April 1990) is a Welsh rugby union player. Born in Gloucester, he plays on the wing for the Ospreys and the Wales national team. Early life Born in Gloucester, Cuthbert went to Newent Community School. He gained a diploma at Hartpury College before studying at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Playing career Cuthbert first played rugby during his years studying at Newent Community School playing club rugby for Hucclecote RFC and Westbury-on-Severn RFC. He later moved to Hartpury College where he was a member of Hartpury College R.F.C., coached by Allan Lewis in a team that included Jonny May on the opposite wing. He then moved to study at UWIC, where he played for both the college and Cardiff RFC. Cuthbert came to wider attention in 2011 with the Cardiff Blues. Gloucester
Gloucester ( ) is a cathedral city and the county town of Gloucestershire in the South West of England. Robert Allan Lewis (born 7 October 1942) is a former international rugby union player. Cardiff (; cy, Caerdydd ) is the capital and largest city of Wales. The 2013 Six Nations Championship, known as the 2013 RBS 6 Nations because of the tournament's sponsorship by the Royal Bank of Scotland, was the 14th series of the Six Nations Championship, the annual northern hemisphere rugby union championship. It was contested by England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. Including the competition's previous incarnations as the Home Nations Championship and Five Nations Championship, it was the 119th edition of the tournament. The 2012 Six Nations Championship, known as the 2012 RBS 6 Nations due to the tournament's sponsorship by the Royal Bank of Scotland, was the 13th series of the Six Nations Championship. George North
George Philip North (born 13 April 1992) is a Welsh professional rugby union player who plays for the Ospreys in the United Rugby Championship and the Wales national team. He has also represented the British & Irish Lions and currently has the most tries in international rugby for an active player. North is the second highest all time try scorer for Wales behind Shane Williams. His usual position is wing, but he has also played at outside centre. Early life North was born in 1992 in King's Lynn, Norfolk, England. His father is English from Yorkshire and his Welsh mother is from Anglesey. The 2010 Commonwealth Games (Hindi: 2010 राष्ट्रमण्डल खेल), officially known as the XIX Commonwealth Games and commonly known as Delhi 2010, was an international multi-sport event that was held in Delhi, India, from 3 to 14 October 2010. A total of 4352 athletes from 71 Commonwealth nations and dependencies competed in 21 sports and 272 events, making it the largest Commonwealth Games to date. It was also the largest international multi-sport event to be staged in Delhi and India, eclipsing the Asian Games in 1951 and 1982. The opening and closing ceremonies were held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, the main stadium of the event. IRB Sevens World Series
The World Rugby Men's Sevens Series is an annual series of international rugby sevens tournaments run by World Rugby featuring national sevens teams. Organised for the first time in the 1999–2000 season as the IRB World Sevens Series, the competition was formed to promote an elite-level of international rugby sevens and develop the game into a viable commercial product. The competition has been sponsored by banking group HSBC since 2014. The season's circuit consists of 10 tournaments that generally begin in November or December and last until May. The venues are held across 10 countries, and visits five of the six populated continents. Paul John (rugby)
Paul John (born 25 January 1970 in Pontypridd) is a former Wales international rugby union player with 10 caps. He is the son of Dennis John, former Wales head coach. Playing career A scrum-half, he played his club rugby for Cardiff RFC, and then Pontypridd RFC, where he was captain. John started playing for Llantwit Fardre Cardiff from 1986/87 -1990/91. He won 10 Welsh caps, making his debut against Tonga in 1994. He retired as a player in 2005. Coaching career He was, until 2010, head coach at Pontypridd. He was assistant coach of the club, as well as a successful Head Coach of the Wales Sevens team, who won the 2009 Rugby World Cup Sevens.
