Aldo Giordano
Aldo Giordano (20 August 1954 – 2 December 2021) was an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church who was Apostolic Nuncio to the European Union in 2021. He was previously Apostolic Nuncio to Venezuela from 2013 to 2021 and before that the Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg from 2008 to 2013. From his ordination in 1979 to 1995 he did pastoral work and taught in his native city of Cuneo. He then served as secretary-general of the Council of Episcopal Conferences of Europe, based in Switzerland, for thirteen years. Biography Giordano was born in Cuneo, Italy. He attended the last year of elementary school and middle and high school in the Seminary of Cuneo (1965–1973). Excellency
Excellency is an honorific style given to certain high-level officers of a sovereign state, officials of an international organization, or members of an aristocracy. Roman Catholic Diocese Of Cuneo
The Italian Roman Catholic Diocese of Cuneo ( la, Dioecesis Cuneensis) was created in 1817, from territory that previously had belonged to the Diocese of Mondovì. Vito Rallo (born 30 May 1953) is an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church, who worked in the diplomatic service of the Holy See. He served as Apostolic Nuncio to Morocco from 2015-2023 and prior to that as Apostolic Nuncio to Burkina Faso from 2007-2015. Biography Vito Rallo was born in Mazara del Vallo, Trapani, on 30 May 1953. He was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Mazara del Vallo on 1 April 1979. He olds a degree in civil and canon law. Diocese Of Tamada
Tamada was an ancient Roman–Berber ''civitas'' in the province of Mauretania Caesariensis. The town lasted through the Byzantine Empire, Vandal Kingdom and Roman Empire into late antiquity, until at least the Muslim conquest of the Maghreb in the 7th century. A titular bishop in various churches is a bishop who is not in charge of a diocese. By definition, a bishop is an "overseer" of a community of the faithful, so when a priest is ordained a bishop, the tradition of the Catholic, Eastern Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox churches is that he be ordained for a specific place. There are more bishops than there are functioning dioceses.
