Alberto López Bello
Cristián Alberto López Bello (c. 1985 – 17 July 2013) was a crime journalist for the Mexican newspaper ''El Imparcial'' and the radio show "Foro Político", in Oaxaca, Mexico. The murder of López was an early case that tested the new powers of federal special prosecutors to investigate crimes against Mexican journalists and freedom of expression. The federal special prosecutor, however, deferred to the Attorney General of Oaxaca, who said three and a half months after the López murder that the motive was a bar fight, announced the arrest of four people, and then resigned the next day. Alberto "''Cuqui''" López Oliva (born 10 March 1944) is a Guatemalan football coach and former defender. He is one of three Guatemalan footballers to win the CONCACAF championship with both national team and club. He played the entirety of his career for CSD Municipal in the Guatemalan top division, and was a part of the squad that won the 1974 CONCACAF Champions' Cup. He scored over 40 goals in his career, a relatively high number for a full back. Alberto López Arce (23 April 1907 — unknown) was a Cuban chess player. He is noted for his involvement in an incident at the 8th Chess Olympiad, a team tournament where then-current champion Alexander Alekhine had expected to play the previous champion José Raúl Capablanca, also of Cuba. The Cuban team instead assigned López Arce to play Alekhine in a game which Alekhine quickly won. The 8th Olympiad coincided with the outbreak of the Second World War, which disrupted the tournament. 8th Olympiad Alberto López Arce competed in the 8th Chess Olympiad as part of the tournament's Cuban team.
