Alberto Cavasin
Alberto Cavasin (born 9 January 1956) is an Italian football manager and former player. Playing career Cavasin, a right back, started his professional career in 1973 for Treviso; he then played for a number of Serie A, B and C clubs, with some success. He retired in 1990. Managerial career After a few months as ''Allievi Nazionali'' coach for Calcio Padova, Cavasin became coach of Treviso for the 1990–91 season, to be sacked soon after. After a number of season at the helm of several Serie C clubs, Cavasin became coach of last-placed Serie B club A.C. Cesena in 1998, as a replacement for Corrado Benedetti, and led the team to keep its place in the league. In 1999, he became coach of U.S. Lecce of Serie A, and led the club to two good seasons, before to be fired in early 2002. Treviso
Treviso ( , ; vec, Trevixo) is a city and ''comune'' in the Veneto region of northern Italy. 2010–11 Serie A
The 2010–11 Serie A (known as the Serie A TIM for sponsorship reasons) was the 109th season of top-tier Italian football, the 79th in a round-robin tournament, and the 1st since its organization under a league committee separate from Serie B. It began on 28 August 2010 and ended on 22 May 2011. Internazionale were the defending champions. Milan won the 2010–11 Serie A and their 18th league title overall with a scoreless draw away to Roma on 7 May 2011. This result ensured that with two rounds remaining Milan's nearest rival Internazionale could only draw level on points, and Milan holds the tiebreaker based on their better head-to-head record. The result prompted celebrations at Milan's Piazza del Duomo. The trophy was presented at Milan's next home game on 14 May. Domenico Di Carlo
Domenico "Mimmo" Di Carlo (born 23 March 1964) is an Italian football coach and a former player, currently in charge of Pordenone. Career Player Di Carlo started his playing career in his native city, playing for the local Serie C2 team Real Cassino. After a number of seasons played for Treviso, Ternana, Como (where he never appeared in the first team line-up) and Palermo, where he helped the team to obtain promotion to Serie C1, Di Carlo signed for Serie C1 team Vicenza in 1990. He quickly became one of the key players for the team, with whom he played nine seasons, obtaining two promotions (from Serie C1 to Serie A), one Coppa Italia and reaching the Cup Winners' Cup semi-finals the following year. Nedo Sonetti
Nedo Sonetti (born 25 February 1941) is an Italian football manager and former player, who played as a defender. Biography Sonetti was born in Piombino, southern Tuscany and lives now in Gorle. Playing career As a defender, Sonetti played in Serie B and Serie C for Spezia Calcio 1906 and Reggina. Managing career As a manager, Sonetti has had a long career at the helm of several Serie A and Serie B teams in the whole country. Among the several teams he led, he had his major successes with Atalanta B.C., which he led from Serie B to a ninth place in Serie A, coaching the team for four seasons. Bruno Giordano (; born 13 August 1956) is an Italian football manager and former player, who was deployed as a forward and is mostly remembered for winning the title of Serie A capocannoniere (top goalscorer) achieved with Lazio as well as for his successful time at Napoli. Pietro Vierchowod (, born 6 April 1959) is an Italian former footballer who played as a defender, and a current manager. He also represented the Italian national side during his career, and was a member of the Italian squad that won the 1982 FIFA World Cup.
