Alane (song)
"Alane" is a song recorded by Cameroonian artist Wes. It was released in May 1997 as the debut single from his album, ''Welenga'' (1996). It became a hit across Europe, topping the charts in Austria, Belgium, France and the Netherlands. It is sung in the Duala language of Cameroon though the Tony Moran remix includes English lyrics ("Alane flows like a fountain, running gently to your heart. Alane dances inside me, like a flame in to your arms"). Wes Madiko
Wes Madiko (15 January 1964 – 25 June 2021), better known mononymously as Wes, was a Cameroonian musician. He is probably best known among Western audiences for his cover of "Upendi", from '' The Lion King II: Simba's Pride'', as well as work with Deep Forest and his own 1997 hit " Alane" produced by Michel Sanchez. In late 2010, he was working on a new project with electronic composer and producer Paul Kwitek. He died on June 25, 2021, in Paris, France, due to a nosocomial infection after a medical operation. Background Wes Madiko's name means "The Roots of land of Ancestor". He was born in Mouataba, some hundred miles away from the city of Douala, Cameroon. Future House
Future house is a house music genre that emerged in the 2010s in the United Kingdom, described as a fusion of deep house, UK garage and incorporating other elements and techniques of other EDM genres. It is high in energy, generally consisting of big drops, 4/4 beats and is sonically bass heavy. Etymology The term "future house" was coined by French DJ Tchami and was first used to categorise his 2013 remix of Janet Jackson's "Go Deep" on SoundCloud. Tchami used the term without considering it a genre saying in a 2015 interview "Future house was meant to be 'any kind of house music that hasn't been invented yet,' so I never considered it as a genre. ''IIII'' is the fourth studio album by German DJ and record producer Robin Schulz, released on 26 February 2021 through Warner Music Group, Warner Music. Robin Alexander Schulz (; born 28 April 1987) is a German musician, DJ and record producer. On 4 February 2014, he released the first single from his debut album, a remix of "Waves" by Dutch hip hop artist Mr. Probz. This remix later received a nomination for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards. The Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA) is a non-profit association set up in 1999 to promote certain interests of the music industry in Ireland.
