Alancheri Thamprakkal
''Alancheri Thamprakkal'' (ആലഞ്ചേരി തമ്പ്രാക്കൾ) () is a 1995 Indian Malayalam-language comedy drama film directed by Sunil, and scripted by Robin Thirumala. The film was produced and distributed by Fax Productions & Release. Nedumudi Venu and Narendra Prasad appear in the lead titular roles along with Annie, Dileep, Rajan P. Dev and Mamukkoya in supporting roles, the film had an average performance at box office. Plot Chathukutty Bhagavathar (Nedumudi Venu) and Chandappan Gurukkal (Narendra Prasad) are brothers who are popularly known as Alanchery Thamprakkal. A. C. Zainuddin (12 May 1952 – 4 November 1999) was an Indian actor, assistant director and comedian, who worked in Malayalam cinema. Career He started his career as a mimicry artist in Cochin Kalabhavan. He was expert in imitating actor Madhu, Weblokam profile especially his mannerisms as Pareekkutty in ''Chemmeen''. He first appeared in films like ''Chappa'' directed by P. A. Bakkar. He then went on to act in over 150 films in a span of 13 years from 1986 to 1999. Shivaji (12 May 1957 - 30 September 2004) was an Indian actor, most popular for his Malayalam films during the 1980s and 1990s. He mainly did villain roles. Background Shivaji was born at Sankaramangalam Pattambi, Palakkad as the fourth child of (both late) Dr. A.K. Sukumari Amma (6 October 1940 – 26 March 2013) was an Indian actress best known for her works in Malayalam and Tamil films. In a career spanning more than five decades, She has appeared in more than 2500 films predominantly in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, along with few Hindi and one each in Sinhala, French, Bengali, Tulu, English and Kannada films. Sukumari began acting at the age of 10. In 2003, she was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India for her contributions toward the arts. Chandrashekaran Menon, better known by his screen name Sankaradi (14 July 1924 – 8 October 2001), was an Indian actor. He was a veteran Malayalam comedian and character artist, who had over 700 Malayalam films to his credit. He dominated the Malayalam film scene in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s as a comedian along with Adoor Bhasi and Bahadoor. Later, he switched to character roles. Padmadalakshan, better known by his stage name Kuthiravattam Pappu (24 December 1936 – 25 February 2000), was a popular Indian stage and film actor.
