Alan Tracy
Alan Tracy is a fictional character who first appeared in the 1960s British Supermarionation television series '' Thunderbirds'', its film sequels '' Thunderbirds Are Go'' (1966) and ''Thunderbird 6'' (1968), as well as the TV remake '' Thunderbirds Are Go''. The character also appeared in the 2004 live-action film adaptation, '' Thunderbirds''. ''Thunderbirds'' (1965-1966) Background The face of the Alan Tracy puppet was modelled on actor Robert Reed. Matt Zimmerman voiced the character for all but one of his 1960s appearances; since Zimmerman was a late addition to the cast, Ray Barrett provided Alan's voice for his debut appearance in the series opener, "Trapped in the Sky". Zimmerman was recommended to producers Gerry and Sylvia Anderson by David Holliday, the voice of Virgil Tracy. Thunderbirds (TV Series)
''Thunderbirds'' is a British science fiction television series created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson, filmed by their production company AP Films (APF) and distributed by ITC Entertainment. Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward
Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward is a fictional character introduced in the British 1960s Supermarionation television series '' Thunderbirds'', which was produced by AP Films (APF) for ITC Entertainment. The character also appears in the film sequels '' Thunderbirds Are Go'' (1966) and ''Thunderbird 6'' (1968), the 2004 live-action film '' Thunderbirds'' and the CGI remake series '' Thunderbirds Are Go''. Kyrano is a fictional character featured in the 1960s British Supermarionation television series '' Thunderbirds'' and its 2004 live-action film adaptation. Depiction Original series Kyrano is the father of Tin-Tin and half-brother of The Hood. He is the manservant in the Tracy household, sharing domestic duties with Grandma. He is renowned for serving tea and coffee within the house and is upset when Parker tries to take this duty from him in the episode " The Mighty Atom". Alan Shepard
Alan Bartlett Shepard Jr. (November 18, 1923 – July 21, 1998) was an American astronaut, naval aviator, test pilot, and businessman. In 1961, he became the second person and the first American to travel into space and, in 1971, he became the fifth and oldest person to walk on the Moon at age 47. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, Shepard saw action with the surface navy during World War II. He became a naval aviator in 1946, and a test pilot in 1950. He was selected as one of the original NASA Mercury Seven astronauts in 1959, and in May 1961 he made the first crewed Project Mercury flight, Mercury-Redstone 3, in a spacecraft he named ''Freedom 7''. David Holliday
David Holliday (August 4, 1937March 26, 1999) was an American Broadway actor and television voice actor. He is best known as the voice of Virgil Tracy, pilot of ''Thunderbird 2'', in the first series (26 episodes) of '' Thunderbirds'' (1965–66). Career Stage Holliday's longest-running role on Broadway was that of Richard Kiley's alternate as Don Quixote in ''Man of La Mancha'', playing Don Quixote in matinees and Dr Carrasco in the evening performances, from 1965 to 1971 (and later took on the role of the innkeeper in the 1992 revival). His next performance, as Georges in '' Coco'', (1969 – 1970) earned him a Theatre World Award. He also appeared in the musicals ''Nevertheless They Laugh'' (Off Broadway 1971), ''Music Is'' (1976) and ''Perfectly Frank'' (1980).
