Ozark is a city in and the county seat of Dale County, Alabama. As of the 2010 census, the population of the city was 14,907. Ozark is the principal city of the Ozark Micropolitan Statistical Area, as well as a part of the Dothan-Ozark Combined Statistical Area. Ozark was originally a part of Enterprise–Ozark micropolitan area before being split, and for a longer while was originally part of the Dothan-Enterprise-Ozark combined statistical area but Enterprise is now its own separate primary statistical area in later censuses. Barbour County is a county in the southeastern part of the U.S. state of Alabama. As of the 2020 census, the population was 25,223. Its county seat is Clayton. Its largest city is Eufaula. Its name is in honor of James Barbour, who served as Governor of Virginia. History Barbour County was established on December 18, 1832, from former Muscogee homelands and a portion of Pike County. Between the years of 1763 and 1783 the area which is now Barbour County was part of the colony of British West Florida. State Route 10 (SR 10) is a major west–east state highway in the U.S. state of Alabama, running for through the southern part of the state. It is the lowest even-numbered route in the state that is not an unsigned partner route assigned to a U.S. Highway. It is also the only signed state route that extends from the Mississippi state line to the Georgia state line. Clopton is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Dale County, Alabama, United States. Clopton is located on Alabama State Route 105, west-northwest of Abbeville. Blue Springs State Park
Blue Springs State Park is a publicly owned recreation area located east of Clio in Blue Springs, Barbour County, Alabama. The state park features a clear blue, natural underground spring that pumps of water per minute into two concrete-ringed swimming pools. The park's recreational area was expanded in 2013 when the Forever Wild Land Trust purchased 100 acres adjoining the park for the purpose of providing hiking trails. The Magnolia Trail, along with two short connector trails, opened in 2018. The trail crosses 2 miles of southeast Alabama forest and provides views of the west fork of the Choctawhatchee River.
