The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, abbreviated as "ALEA", is a law enforcement agency serving the U.S. state of Alabama. It exists within the Executive Branch of State Government to coordinate public safety in Alabama.Ala. The Secretary, its chief executive, is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the Governor of Alabama. Jack Spencer Collier (born March 27, 1973) is an American politician who served as a Republican member for the 105th district in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2002 to 2011.
